How do you feel about the theory lion king cubs darken with age?? I don't prefer it myself simply because I hate how dull the colors look after having them be crisp and bright as cubs ~
I like it personally. Because a lot of animals will darken and some times change color with age. It also accounts for the survival genetics. Being of similar color like their surroundings would help them blend in while their parents hunt. Meanwhile as they age their colors mute. While still retaining the ability to hide among their surroundings to hunt.
Funny thought of the Live Action Lion King remake. Imagining Disney trolling the fans by giving Nala and Simba at the end multiple cubs rofl wants to see the Canon cub blood bath.

Maybe heard about Scar taking over the PrideLands and it's like the IT kingdom probably so she wants a piece of that candy ~ tho do you think my reasons for Scar taking Zira back make sense or need reworking? I ship Scar and Zira so I wanted them to have a history at least xD tho they didn't get back together when Zira joins the PrideLands, more so became business partners in a way ~

Kucha was killed by a invader ~ though Zira killing him sounds like a real good idea too ~ because that sounds pretty in character too since she throws away what isn't useful to her anymore it seems like ~ tho her madness for Scar intensifys when he takes her in regardless of their past conflict ~ I had it as a mix of past unrequited affection, to spite Kucha in the afterlife and seeing he could benefit from Ziras loyalty and this new pride of lionesses ~ much more "grateful" than Muffys girls ~
She could probably lie to the pride that he was taken out by a usurper and with her injuries she could say she fought the usurper off. I can totally see it. And of course I can see Zira using violence to keep them in control. She even probably kills one of the girls who dared stand up to her to make her point.
I had a theory about the whole Kovu is the heir thing ~ I thought Zira and Scar had history as a couple but then Scar lost his Roar. Zira liked power but now Scar was basically nothing so she left the PrideLands as their relationship turned sour. Scar wasn't the lion he used to be. Zira gets with some hunkier more powerful lion she and Scar grew up with. They leave together and start a pride of their own where Zira gets to be queen. [1]
Seasons later Scar is now king and Zira has returned to the PrideLands pregnant and has Nuka. Her mate was killed and she now has his pride with her. Kovu is born not long after Zuri. In my theory Scar fathered Zuri so he wants to bethroth Kovu to Zuri. He wants Kovu specifically because of his former history with Zira. IDK. [2]
