Don’t let the sharks scare you away from dipping your toes into the ocean. If you really wanna learn to draw it, by all means, go for it! 

Just don’t be like some artists out there who have the thought process of “Oh well it’s not really my art if I’m using another style”. This is an open invitation to being used and abused by said sharks. 

If you have a sturdy backbone and aren’t afraid to snatch someone bald when it happens, they’ll back off. I haven’t had my personal art been stolen and abused like in Youtube’s Recolor/Repost culture for a while now because of this attitude. Maybe found my art once or twice by happenstance. But I otherwise put my foot down on them and then applied pressure until I heard a snap. 

But yeah, do it for the fun. Don’t let anxiety ruin that fun!
