I've read Savu's comic. It was okay but had way too many unecessary characters to me. I liked "Kiara's Regin" but too bad, it seems to be canceled now :C I tried to read "Raised in Hate" but I couldn't get into it. The goofy faces compared to serious theme gets me out of the mood every time. I don't know any other comics that wouldn't be pure OC fanfiction. Any ideas?

I read their comic because it was popular at the time. Their anatomy still hasn’t gotten any better since they’ve moved away from lions. And yet their comics have flooded the fandom in torrents as traced bases.

A small detail I really liked in Makini's design - they gave her a proper Mandril tail instead of mimicking Rafiki's design.

At least in their older wotk horsenilin310 admited he/she used bases. Now it's called "referencing" while it's still a buch of bases and scrrencaps retraced and pasted together.

Honestly Kula was porayed as a typical "always hungry" characters and I've always drew her as a chubby lioness. But I get your vent. There's a difference between character being chubby just for diversity and design purposes and fat fetish art.

What are your thoughts on Babysitter Bunga and the reaimagined jackal familly? The fact that one of Dogo's littermates has been made into actual character doesn't bother me as much as the rest of the pups were completely dumped and replaced by two young adults.

I liked the change. The episode redeemed Bunga as a useful character and solidified him as my favorite guard.

I feel like those two older jackals might be ReiRei’s siblings. Or at the least cousins. Goigoi was also adorable in this episode. He had more speaking lines than previous episodes and we got a glimpse of his personality. I think there’s an interesting character beneath the surface besides just being lazy. Where initially I just thought they were a carry over from all those Hannah Barbara cartoon hill folk baddies.

You also have to account for the amount of rendering computers can have when dealing with these animation programs. That’s probably why they dipped down to Dogo and Kijana. And why they use cookie cutter designs for background characters. I have a feeling Kijana is going to be the next Vitani though.
