I always thought the idea of Scar and Sarabi having some kind of friendship pre Mufasa's death funny. I don't know, but I feel like the two would be able to get along, bouncing off each others snarky remarks, talking about things that annoy them and things like that. I always envisioned it like two female bffs.

It's fine for people to go the Six adventures route. The only time I will mind it if when people are going to be condescending about it. I've seen a share of comments saying "Uhm you do know Ahadi is Mufasa's and Scar's dad, right" or anything similar to that.
While I don’t count it canon. I do like seeing how other people work it into canon. The Zira killed Kopa does get tiresome after awhile tho.
Evil sociopath mastermind Scar is fine, but him being an immature prick who has some anger issues is also part of his character.
Yeah Youtube is filled with people who still can't accept that Six new adventures isn't canon and Scar's name isn't Taka. I on the other hand am just hoping for some more Sassy/Snarky Scar.

Can we talk about "I have a plan" and how it's just "Be prepared" rewritten? The difference between David Oyelowo and Jeremy Irons is more apparent, now we get to hear Scar for more than one line. I have been headcanoning that the process losing the roar might have ruined Scar's vocal cords resulting in the voice he has in TLK 1, while David Oyelowo's Scar might have been what he sounded like pre losing the roar. Though I might be looking too deep it.

You could also go for a fandom classic and read AlbinoRaven666's reign comic line. It has the cliche elements that all Mufasa, Scar childhood stories have. But it was one of the earlier attempts on such backstory, so it gets an pass. Also seeing the art evolve as the comic goes on is awesome.

I don’t think she’s been updating it as religiously as she has been. Posts have been sporadic. But that’s okay. Especially since she has other interests and life to attend.
I know I'm late, but "Raised in Hate" by Zee-stitch is also pretty nice. It mostly focuses on Zira from childhood to what we see of her during TLK 2. New pages are uploaded sporadically however.

Can we give the background artists some props? First thing I noted when watching Rise of Scar was the pretty color pallet they gave the background during the Fujo sequence.
Agreed. Although I do think they should consider new color palettes for the Hyena song sequences. Yellow and Blue are getting a bit boring. We should spice it up and use some new colors.
