Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom
Oh my gosh other lions! I hope they’ll have a different culture from the Pridelander lions. I’ve always been curious how other prides look at the circle of life. (and if the Pridelanders are the only lions who get divine intervention)

I’m hoping for that myself!

I think crossover ships are fine... as long as people don't take them too seriously.

Done in moderation it is okay I suppose. But a fine example of having gotten out of hand is ROTBTD also known as Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons. Holy shit what a cluster fuck.

The name Tezla isn't even an a Swahili word. (at least I can't find it) The writers of the Lion guard actually put effort in naming their characters. I have significant doubts about the realness of this "Underground adventure" episode.

Debunked^ The new ‘episode’ leak is faked.

Discord could be a nice place for artists, atleast for socialising. It isn’t really an artsite though.

Discord is a communication app. Much like Skype.

Based on the description of the episode it seems to be implied that Christmas isn't a thing native to the Pridelands. Having Timon and Pumbaa (since they aren't native to the Pridelands) know about it seems to a nice way to hand wave the absurdity of Christmas in the Pridelands. (Though imho I'd rather have had an episode about about Kwanzaa if they really have to put a human holiday in there. People could have learn what it's about)

I would also have been happy had they chosen to represent Ramadan.

Is the idea of Zazu being older than Mufasa and Scar weird? I've been thinking lately and it just makes sense to me. The way he chastises Scar, how he tries to comfort Mufasa. Zazu seems like a fatherly type person. I don't know, any opinions?

I just figured he was doing it as though it were his job to. He is the majordomo. But that’s an interesting approach to it.

So is no one going to mention we got the name of the first leader of the Lion guard. It might not be the most creative, but all lore counts.

I’m surprised the fandom isn’t blowing their minds over Sarabi making an appearance.

In relation to the last ask. My person technique for getting adult colors is 1) That I pick the cub colors and put them on my canvas (any program with layers should be good), 2) then duplicate that layer and then put the duplicate layer on multiply and 50% opacity. It might not be the best way to do it, but it gets results. Though my general philosophy is that the adults colors are (most of the time) darker, but more saturated.

Certainly an interesting way of approaching it!

Related to last ask. While I don’t envision Scar having kids while he’s on the throne in my headcanon, a potential reason for Scar keeping his daughters would be to have a group of lionesses who are loyal and obedient to him.

That too.

We all laugh and these bad designs, but I'm sure we all started out in a similar way. I remember that my first OC had just Kiara's pelt color and Kovu's muzzle color and eventually I evolved to create better designs. Does anyone else have funny stories about how bad their first OCs Were?

I can remember I use to use ugly color markers and attack coloring books with them. My favorite coloring books to mutilate were Lisa Frank coloring books. And I would call these ugly mary sues my OCs. This was WAY back in the 80s when I didn’t have internet to teach me how to design characters. And not everyone had a computer either.

Kash has always been my first lion king OC. She use to be crazy looking with neck and shoulder fur with a mop top. She originally was a gender bend white Scar. But she’s evolved over the years.
