The similarity between TLG and -insert any other group/band/gang- usually comes from the fact that a group where individuals have a key characteristic and an important role in it are very, and I repeat: VERY common. I admire how people can see similarities between things, but just due the sheer armount of such groups, I consider the similarities insignificant. As insignificant as, oh hey this character has green eyes, oh and that one has too! omg so similair! (just on a bit biger scale)
Kinda how I see it! I think it’s cool that others can see the similarities between two groups but at the same time I don’t see it and there for I’m not interested to say the least.
My comment was sparked when you showed that video of the Hyenas. I always wondered why TLK and TLG made them unrealistically gray instead of tan. And oh boy they do look rather gray in that video. Likely muddy and dirty from a trip or so. It instantly reminded me about the TLK creators how they explained about the 'red' warthog and how the colours were their impressions from africa.
Ahh okay. Yea they tried to bring out the colors in the film that they saw in their trip to Africa to research for the film.
But we can't just concentrate on the flaws...On the other hand... I absolutely love how they portrayed the Jacklas, for once a multi-coloured canine was portrayed well! They aren0t just gray or tan blobs of fur. I can't comment on girffes because I preffer to look at Zebras. Gotta say the gnus (gnus <3) are absolutely lovely while I can't believe how well they captured aardwovles' silly face masks and how they played off their personality well with appearance. (2/2)
I think Dumblr ate your first comment dear ^u^;
