I remember when I joined the outrageous fan theory club that Rinja started back in the day. For some reason I had made Nuka the son of Ahadi? Idk what I was even thinking back then lol
Hmm, it’s certainly thinking outside the box.

Also got these recently. With the toy set seems they only changed the box art, but least we got a cool looking Scar on the side now lol also mini cell of the presentation scene ~
So the only change is the box? No additional figures?
Got a coloring book, it’s mostly the usual stock Lion Guard poses you see all the time. Picked out the few I liked for the picture tho. The stickers and markers are cool tho. Also what differences are even in those two pictures, I can’t see anything 0_0
Some of these templates I’ve not seen before, especially in the stickers. Really cool!
I don’t remember buying this but apparently I did rofl
Maybe it was a gift and that’s why you don’t remember getting it?Thanks for sharing all of these!
Seems like a retelling of Can’t Wait To Be Queen from a magazine I picked up ~ also some cute misc things here ~
That’s an… interesting retelling.
Thought you’d wanna see a Lion Guard book I had purchased some time ago. Most notable things to me at least is the variety of hyenas in the clan and that pic of Simba, Nala and Kiara reminding me of the “Mind your father” scene in Simbas Pride ~ I got other goodies I will send in soon ~
I can’t help but notice the inconspicuous illustrator’s watermark in the last image.
Rewatched Lion King 2 recently and noticed they gave him a beard like Nuka during the start of the nightmare scene lel let the fan theories beginnnn
SHH Don’t tell you know who, or else he’ll never let it down!
Yo its Wolf-Chalk again ~ just wanted to share some Lion Guard art I did recently ~ Had some pencils laying around and thought: why nottttttt
It’s not often we see traditional fan art. This is very nicely done!
alrighty, here’s some Tea, the same sorta message is probably always posted but yknow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
there is no harm in letting people have fun online with weird characters and bases, but to be completely honest, if people just use bases or trace art for their entire lives, it gets them nowhere artistically. period.
would i have improved at the same rate if i had just stuck to using bases or colouring over other people’s art? no. and sometimes you dont progress at all if all you’re used to is using the fill tool to drop colour into some lines. other people work hard to produce their artwork and get it up to a good quality. when people (not even just kids, sometimes full blown adults) whine and groan that “its not fair!!!!!!” after they get called out for tracing over art that people spend years trying to perfect an art style over- THAT is whats unfair.
so am i perfect artist? no. not in the slightest, lol. i still have a lot to learn and so many ways to progress. no amount of “b-but i have xyz that prevents me from-” AH shshhshhhh. shh. i have dyspraxia, which vastly affects my fine motor skills and coordination, and i’m still pursuing an artistic career despite my struggles.
so the next time someone gets called out for tracing art, it’s not “ruining peoples fun”, it’s protecting an artists hard work and steering someone in the right direction if they really want to be an artist.
lol
Kind of why I’m anti-bases. It’s okay if you’re using them to experiment and push your own painting skills and not spending like 5 minutes color picking and filling it in with a fill bucket. And sometimes they make for a good quick adoptable line art if you’re too busy to make your own. They’re only buying the color palette anyways, it’s up to them to take the color palette and mold it into an original character.
Looking great here! Keep up the awesome work!
