This is probably going to sound pathetic but I am desperate to seek out anybody who can help me even slightly. My dog here Juicy Lucy has been diagnosed with mammary tumors and if we don’t get them removed they could turn into full on cancer. They can’t even tell how bad it could be right now since they would need to operate to remove them, regardless it WILL result in a slow death from cancer the longer they stay inside her. She also has to be spayed to make sure the tumors don’t come back, the bill estimate is already 1300k - 1400k, I am taking commissions or donations, I will slash prices if they are too high for you, ANYTHING, so long as I can get some money to help my dog. So far I’ve raised 62 dollars from a randy on a discord server and HydraCarnia who purchased art to be made. If you could spread this info around, I would be deeply indebted to you. If you don’t want to, I understand, as this is really out of the blue and pitiful begging for help like this ;_; here’s the journals for more info, including a picture of the bill.

I was sharing stuff about my version of a mate and family for Mohatu and this person yet again tried telling me fan stuff is canon. It’s hard trying to be logical sometimes.

They still can’t wrap their tiny pea-sized brain around the fact that Asali belongs to someone else and that it is THEIR character. Yeah, this one’s an idiot who will believe everything in the fandom. If HydraCarina was to say Mohatu’s grandfather was God-lion then he’d believe it I’m sure! 

Reki is Uru’s younger brother, he is a bitter and angry lion due to the loss of Tovu [Uru’s first mate/plus he was like a big bro figure to Reki] in the great war between the PrideLands and Ahadi’s Pride so he’s very much looking at most of his own pride as enemies from the merge. His mate is a lioness called Pulika, she was betrothed to him. She is one of the few lions he tolerates and can reasonably say cares for, mostly due to the fact she was of his birth pride and she is so chilled out and following of him for the most part, usually she doesn’t fight him and just agrees with whatever he wants/says to do, which makes Reki pleased. Bwana is Simba’s Uncle from the Unusual Choir comic, he eventually marries Dwala when the princess visits the PrideLands, he is instantly attracted to her and works to win her heart. He has a sister Mariatu [partially named after Reki’s father Mohatu], she is a quiet sort of lioness, just blends in with the rest. She is based on a lioness from the Circle of Life opening: https://lionking.wikia.com/wiki/Simba%27s_pride/Gallery?file=Background_Lionesses_Opening_Sequence.png She has a unique set of markings across her shoulders that are probably an animation error [they stick around in the animation sequence for a bit too] but idc, looks cool so I decided to use her anyway~ Mariatu doesn’t really have a story set for her, she’s just kinda filling a space that looked empty between Reki’s forepaws :U

Hey Kash! About 7 months ago I submitted this little Scar/Zira cub for some advice, and now I finally made him an adult. Toned down the eyes a little, but are they still too intense?

He’s so fluffy! Hmm, they are a bit bright. Maybe saturate his eyes a teensy bit. But otherwise he’s beautiful! 

I drew some pre Lion King 1 stuff. First is Ziras mother and father who aren’t abusive to her like many theories have them be, they’re very crafty and power driven tho but not dangerous persay but they fuel Zira into the lioness she becomes. Second two are Sarabis mom, sisters and father. Their mom is a piece of shit and abuses them both physically and mentally, she’s unhappy in her life and marriage so she takes it out on those around her. She isn’t very right in the head. She shows favoritism toward her cubs in short burst of time when they do anything that benefits her, so the cubs are attention starved and fight for it. Their dad is just a very doesn’t care kinda parent, he just mainly ignores them and doesn’t try being responsible. Guess like a selfish and worse version of Hukuna Matata Simba with no conscious. Finally Ahadi and Uru. They were betrothed but eventually fell in love with a lot of trial and error, Uru had a past flame as well but he’s another story for another time. Ahadi may look rough around the edges but he’s a very good father to his cubs. He’s close to both his sons and kinda spoils Scar a whole lot. He’s a serious and firm lion but a gentle giant at the end of the day. Uru is like a blend of Kiara, Kala and Sarabi in terms of personality, spunky but very reserved and parental and strong hearted. Pre TLK is always fun to dabble in! This was an interesting read and it kinda made sense for the way Zira treated Nuka who was also attention starved. 

The person who took Hydracarina’s art had the nerve to comment on her account and on the picture two months prior claiming it was “Her character” and she was going to report her for stealing. I have never read anything more dumb then that.. 

Like I said, enforcing the character was her creation I do not approve of. 

Obviously clickbait. I’m sure the websites have a way of reporting it. And unfortunately, the owners would have to report the theft. 

This is the last one I have scanned so far, I’ll try and get more after I catch up on commissions. I did reference Mufasa from this one too many times.

For the record I both referenced and traced this picture of Scar too many times to count. It’s a really fun pose. This book - though this isn’t my copy - means a lot. It’s the first time I clearly remember referencing not tracing. (I’m going in page order here.)

I think this book is still in production. I never picked up a copy because there was no new illustrations available. 

I put this together as best I could. This book has a couple two page spreads in it. (“Lion” mascot is what my last one should have said. Was 5th grade so..)
