But hey, factory errors, even typos like these are more collectible! A harry potter first edition with title error goes upwards in the 6k$. And I’ve yet to get my copy of HTTYD book 8 with its typos, double-printed chapters, and missing context, appraised.

Now is the turn of Mheetu (yes,I’m doing one by one my version of the design for the semi-canon character) ! I think is an another semi-fail,because even is a mix of Scar and Sarafina,I find him very vanilla…

I’ve seen some pretty versions of Mheetu come out. I’m sure if you keep grinding colors together, you’ll find something that’ll make you happy. 

Actually,I have changed a bit his colors,because I was smart enough to think to myself “and why not I could inherit of somes colours of his grandma Sarabi ?” . Now,I think he look prettier like this,no ? ^^

What do you think about my version of Kopa ? I wanted to mix somes the color of Simba Pride’s Nala look (the more pale one) and the original colors of Simba but I think he look more like a twin bro of Kiara,no ? At least,me who wanted to make my Kopa different from all the golden “like son-like father” others Kopa,I guess that’s not bad,if so ^^’

Hmm, you might make him a little more muddier too to accentuate Nala’s colors while still having Simba’s colors. 

Clip Studio Paint has this neat function where you can put in up to 4 colors to mix and match and I use it to choose colors on characters sometimes. I tested it with Simba and Nala’s primary base colors and I appeared to have gotten Kiara’s color as a result. IDK if there’s a free interactive website that does the same, unfortunately.

Isn’t that a puma? How can it be a lion king OC if it’s an American species? These people can’t seem to think these things through. 

And honestly? I don’t have a problem with OCs that have been made on a traced base. I’ve occasionally used bases to test color palettes for OCs myself. And I’ve seen some pretty OCs be made on bases. It’s the kool-aid vomit and the extreme over the top design OCs that hurt my eyes.

What you’re sharing is Youtube Recolor Culture. Where the goal is to create the edgiest, hardest character to recreate imaginable. I’ve seen one where it looks like they took Kiara and drew a blue stripe over her head. I shit you not. They’re just that lazy. 

Yeah, recolors and image editing isn’t my thing, but I kinda wanted to have fun, here. 

Made the background lionesses assisting Simba’s presentation being my Sukalaverse interpretations of Sarabi’s sisters, plus Sarafina, a fanmade character and a baby Nala I made using official baby Simba clipart.

Felt like sharing this here since I’m pretty much proud of it. Whadaya think? Anything better I could have done, for this render?
