Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom
I wouldn't say SP Simba has "0" character exploration. He's clearly conflicted through much of the film, and he has more than one side. He clearly loves his family and his kingdom, just to a degree that makes him overbearing. Not to mention, I like how he's still traumatized by the events of the first film, which in my eyes, is a subversion of the "happily ever after thing". No one could realistically go through all that and still be the "no worries" type. He's still interesting in SP to me.

I’ll be honest I just found his behavior annoying. But now that you put it that way it does make sense as to why he’d be protective of Kiara.

What is it that makes a lot of the TLK fandom question whether or not Zira is Kovu's biological mother? Don't get me wrong, I believe the theory that she isn't, but I didn't think so many others thought so too. I'm curious on what other people's reasons are for thinking Zira and Kovu aren't blood related.

I dunno either. I still question how she became a mother when she’s twenty pounds of crazy in a five pound bag. Then again she can be caring when she needs to be. She still doesn’t strike me as the mother type.

I headcanon that Kion was one of the youngest Lion Guard members ever, and that most of the leaders prior to him were usually older. Scar included.

That would make sense. Generally the leader of the guard would lead well up until the second born cub of their brother/sister is old enough to take the reigns. So it could easily be that Kion is the youngest in history of the guard. Headcanon accepted.

What exactly is it about Simba's childhood that's so compelling that you'd want to see a whole movie about it? Because personally, I don't know how they'd be able to fill over an hour's worth of material of it, at least not without retreading a lot of what was already seen of his childhood in the first movie.

Not the whole childhood. Just an adventure that leads him up to Timon and Pumba’s jungle or something. Kind of like how they did adventure movies for Young Tarzan and Young Bambi. You can actually achieve it. All you have to do is give the character a new obstacle. This could be anything from something they need to accomplish, a goal of sorts or new antagonists.

How often do you get questions that you just don't want to answer and leave aside completely?

Once a week I have to block a certain butthurt twat because they’re sexting me or sending me immature af gross asks. I also get some other anonymous twat who asks scientific questions and I just delete those. Actually I think I’ve had to block that anon because they were annoyingly off topic and wasting my time and in box space. I’ve only ever had to hold off on answering a question once or twice but only due to internet issues and being unable to load websites properly. I’m considering upgrading my wifi tower soon on account of that. Because sluggish Wifi also leads to shitty Netflix even if you’re paying 7$ extra for HDMI.

First "Kopatards", now there's apparently "Nukatards" too. What's next, Simbatards? Kiaratards? Kiontards? There really seems to be a lot of "tards" in the fandom lately.

I consider the “BAWW Kiara changed!” twats Kiaratards.

And to be fair I calmed down the nukatard. She seems okay once she’s relaxed and not upset over facts.

For as bad as rabid Kopa fans can be, have you ever personally encountered the opposite problem? As in, someone who hated Kopa and any ships with him a little *too* much, to the point where they were attacking others over it?

Not right off the top of my head, no.

Isn't it a bit harsh to lump shippers into one big group? Don't get me wrong, I HATE when people just mindlessly ship random crap without thinking, but I don't think it's right to assume that any given shipper is like that on sight. I've met plenty of people who can talk about their ships without losing their minds or going on long-winded rants. I don't think you should be so antagonistic to shippers based on what the assholes do. You might end up going off on a rational one by accident soon.

It’s usually the younger generation who are ca-ca crazy with shipping and get aggressive using the label fear factor to enforce their OTP in non believers throats. Not all shippers are crazy however in the TLK fandom. It might also vary from fandom to fandom. Because let’s look at Transformers fandom. Shippers in that fandom(And dare I say I might be one???) are tame compared to TLK shippers who ship everyone to everyone then scream and cry about someone hating their otp. While Transformers shippers all gather and ooh and ahh over their favorite ships and give ideas to each other. It’s a family in Transformers fandom with shippers where as in the TLK fandom it’s just a bunch of diaper wearing crybabies starting shipping wars and throwing labels at everyone.

Canonicity aside, I think I know a reason why Kopa never showed up in SP: He was too busy hiding from all the fanbrats to consider signing on for the movie. He must not have wanted to risk getting lynched on his way to the studio every morning, eh? XD

Hehehehe~

If you could have any voice actor or actress guest star in a future Lion Guard episode, who would it be?
