Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom
What's with all the talk of Rinjapene lately? The only thing I've ever really known her for is hating Kiara and SP more than anyone else I've ever known, and once giving TC-96 shit in the comments of one drawing. (Thought I might be remembering incorrectly.) That's about it. Is she worse than I know or something?

She apparently is and I’m just learning about these actions from her now too. So you’re not alone in the confusion. I’m not entirely sure what she did to bring up the sudden drama talk about her. I mean she did help the TLK community get rid of PenofGold who was(And still is) a trite nuisance.

To me, The Lion King has about as much to do with Kimba as The Matrix has to do with Doritos.

Couldn’t agree more

What exactly is it about Taka, Ahadi and Uru that you dislike? I get they're from 6NA and all, but is there anything beyond that that you take issue with on them?

It’s everywhere and out worn its welcome. No one ever bothers being original anymore and seemingly worships 6NA as canon. Personally I would like for there to be canon names for the parents and Scar to end this redundant nonsense. I’ve been considering renaming my version of Scar and Mufasa’s parents just to break away from the mold.

In the new Lion Guard episode, it's kind of weird how Kiara was able to start that buffalo ceremony without Simba hovering over her like usual. Considering how overprotective he's been in the past, it seems odd that he'd let her do that on her own. Couldn't there have been a line from Kiara like "Daddy's finally giving me a chance!" or something like that?

Most likely could have been. It’s also likely that he was finally able to relax his PTSD with Kion in charge of the Pridelands’ safety to where he can trust her enough on her own with her own duties. She needs to be trained in the family royalty business and letting her do it on her own is a good way to let her build up self confidence as well.

Maybe I should've worded that differently. What I meant was, is Disney declaring 6NA non-canon a plausible, realistic thing that can happen? After all, once you exclude the fandom, not a lot of casual TLK fans are even aware that the books exist at all, and even less know about the comics. Whereas with Star Wars, you couldn't escape seeing EU material if you tried in bookstores and Wal Marts and whatnot. 6NA, however hasn't even been printed in 22 years. Would Disney even consider it worth it?

I don’t think Disney has declared it (just yet). I’m hoping the moment we learn of Simba’s grandfather or Scar’s origins further, they will declare whether or not it’s been rejected from their franchise.

As for not a lot of fans knowing about 6NA, that’s not true. The Kopatards that worship Lion Jesus usually learn their information from Youtubers before then seeking out Kati-Kopa’s comics and then looking for the series of chapter books before proceeding to make asses of themselves in the fandom.

Remember how Disney pretty much rendered the Star Wars Expanded Universe non-canon once they bought Lucasfilm? Well, do you suppose something similar could ever happen with TLK? Is it possible that one day, they could come out and just declare 6NA and all the other old books/comics non-canon?

I sincerely would LOVE for that to happen. And them to finally end all debates about relatives. We still need to see what Nala’s father looks like. So far he looks like he might be Kion’s color design if not slightly more yellow. I’d also love to know just where the hell Tiifu and Zuri’s parents are as well as the the rest of the pride.

Whelp, it finally happened. Someone over DeviantArt informed me that princessEninka stole one of my drawings and traced over it. I've never had this happen before, at least not to my knowledge. But the weird part is that they aren't even trying to hide that they stole it. They literally put "By Darthmaul1999" in the title, and it looked like it was traced over in MS Paint. Usually I'd just ask them to remove it in the comments, but I feel like fuckin' around with them first. Any ideas?

And people wonder why I’m antagonistic towards Chipmunk fans.

The whole lot of them are fucking idiots who dish out nothing but repulsive shit left and right. They’re prone to stealing and then whine when caught. I’ve only ever seen one or two chipmunk fans who drew their own shit without resorting to badly recoloring screenshots for their oh so edgy band that makes little to zero sense.

Were I you I would just straight up DMCA the twat. DMCA’ing their terrible recolors would be enough to piss them off right there. Let’s face it, she fucking recolored over TLK porn. I laugh every time I think of that. You must be really fucking pathetic if you recolor porn for fuck’s sake.

Have you ever noticed that, in Just Can't Wait to Be Queen, Kion managed to show up near the end before Fuli did? Considering how fast she's meant to be, I can't help but take that as a sign of how much Kion cares for Kiara if he was able to run ahead of Fuli to save her.

Now that you mention it I never noticed that. But yea, if a family member is in trouble I would imagine Kion would push himself to the limits to get to their aid.

If lion/cheetah hybrids are out of the question, are there any hybrid OCs that would be acceptable in your eyes?

Well horses and mules exist in Africa. They can interbreed. So can zebra and mules or horses either way. Those would be acceptable. I think there are some antelope that can interbreed and create hybrids. While it’s never happened in the wild it’s not too far fetched if a leopon appears. Some small cat breeds can interbreed. If the domesticus Felinus was in TLG I’m sure we would see some Savannah cats running around. Same with domestic wild dogs and hyenas interbreeding. Wild dogs are the only thing hyenas can interbreed with.

In your opinion, should Nala and Kiara qualify as Disney princesses?

I believe Kiara should be considered a princess at the least. I don’t think Nala was a princess to begin with? For all we know she coulda been a cousin to a prince from far away lands. Then again we don’t know what her background was or where she came from. So that’s kinda why I don’t consider Nala a princess. Kiara should be a Disney Princess tho for sure.
