Gonna say right now aging Kion and the others alongside the voice actors instead of tossing them and replacing them is really really nice, like most companies just drop kick and get new. The aging up in canon is also really refreshing af.

Better question, we had little to no proof Scar was Mufasa's brother(by blood at the least), so what difference would Scar not being his sibling make besides it being in line with statistics of most murders and kidnaps are done by friends and relatives? If they really go out there with the movie, I'd have a blast a whole new take on TLK, that would be awesome!
I agree. Getting up in arms over tiny things like removing Be Prepared or changing Scar from brother to rogue is silly(Since in the original script Scar was a rogue). I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with this CGI remaster myself.
