There is nothing wrong with using a ref, if ya don't use a ref then the result is a bunch of inaccuracy unless ya know how to draw something from memory, also tracing is fine as long as you don't post the traced image and call it your art, you can use tracing to help you learn how to draw something, tracing is not just so you can try to steal someone else's art and say it's yours. I honestly don't understand how someone is unable to realize this like jfc

Tracing should be used as a learning tool, not to earn fame.
Just watch someone suddenly accuse you of tracing that, we all know it's gonna happen, we're all sitting here sipping tea waiting for someone to suddenly scream n be all like OI YA TRACED THAT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, it's gonna happen just watch

I’ve been drawing TLK since ‘01 and still ain’t satisfied with my art. So I have to use references. Sometimes I use tutorials too. People have it in their head that referencing is bad but it ain’t. It’s healthy for a growing artist!
