So… is this what we’re being given for The Lion King 2019 merchandise? 1994 movie clipart?
You know me, I’m always curious to see a new TLK comic that’s not a traced base comic. Well, having found a new one I thumbed through it. Only to learn that it was copied right off of the film and various TLK comics. Then they have the balls to post this on their comic.
They expect us not to copy or steal their works when they copied or referenced from other artists and straight out of the film(s). They give credit but you don’t know how many of those artists they asked if they could “reference” their works.
Oh, you want credit for something that someone else already did that you poorly traced? Okay then! You have earned a crazy badge!

Update: It turns out she had permission. Still a dumbass move.
This doesn’t really make sense if the stamp creator for it DRAWS in TLK style. Now, many artists don’t even draw in TLK style if they’ve developed their own style.
Let’s look at TastesLikeAnya. She made some TLK fan art and it’s no where near it. And her feline style is amazing and original.
Another one, Leonoy. They developed in the TLK fanbase and evolved away from the style. It looks nothing like TLK.
RedNight/Redbuzzard/Esava; she never drew TLK to begin with. She’s 100% original and that’s how I love her.
I could go on and on listing several people who have feline styles that are no where near TLK style that would otherwise put this stamp to shame.
