So I don't know if you or anyone else knows about this but you know those Lion King family tree videos on Youtube? Well one of them takes a surprising turn because in the thumbnail, there's a pic of Kiara and Kovu as cubs getting involved in sexual acts and it appears again in the video. The video doesn't even go deep into the family tree either, just that Simba was born, later married Nala, had Kiara, met and married Kovu and that they wanted cubs. That's it.
Report it. That kind of imagery does not belong on Youtube and they’ll for sure remove it.
Stupid question but are you a fan of Homestar Runner? I noticed you used the word "jorb", which is a well known word in universe.
I am not, sorry. I picked up the word from NeonDragon a long time ago when she called out a thief.
So what do you think of this: We all know that profiting off of a person's artwork and selling it (either in prints or other merch) is no good. But what if a person sees a piece of artwork and they love it so much that they think it would make a good poster or keychain, etc. and they get it made into merch. However, they're not selling it and it's just for personal use. Would this be alright?
I see no problem in printing off a pic you love, especially if you commissioned it from an artist(I often offer the unwatermarked version of a comm on request for that reason). But I would strongly recommend letting that artist know by showing a photo of your print out with their work. It would make the artist really happy I’m sure.
Eh, I don't know. I'm honestly not a fan of the fact that the live action movie isn't including "Be Prepared" either as it's a popular Lion King song. However, aside from not deciding to watch it when it comes out, there's nothing I can do about it. Petitions usually don't work anyways, especially ones made out of spite.
If you don’t like it, that’s your decision. It’s nice to see people not going out of their way to be foolish about it for a change.
I just find it really adorable that the Lion Guard had leaf manes in the Ukumbusho Tradition episode. It's a nice throwback to the first Lion King movie

They like to throw easter eggs to the original movie(s) in TLG.
I guess you have a point with every character is a hero in their own story. It's just that in the grand scheme of things, when he does all these malicious things and causes so much distress, you can't really say that he's not evil. And don't get me wrong, I like Scar. He's a cunning and an overall enjoyable character but if Disney markets him as a villain, he's that: a villain (unless of course you're doing an AU in which Scar is good and Simba and Musfasa are evil or something like that).
Agreed. People just need to accept that. Yes, AU’s are good for that too.
I hate to even start something up here but I have to get this off my chest. There's people saying that Scar isn't evil because he helped an opposed group (hyenas). Are they serious? Scar KILLED Mufasa, attempted to kill Simba twice, doomed a kingdom and refused to move from said kingdom when it falls. How is he not evil?! I mean there's sympathizing with a character and then there's completely eschewing a major aspect of a character.
Well they’re not too far off. Everyone is the hero in their own story. Scar however, was apathetic and narcissistic. And he showed no signs of empathy when he killed his brother to get what he wanted. In the broadway ver he thought he was going mad seeing Mufasa at every turn, I figure from the guilt. But then I keep going back to him not showing any empathy.
