I had this weird dream last night that there was a Lion Guard/King movie coming out and it was animated in the original hand-drawn style. The only scene I saw was a bunch of teens and cubs playing in a river that suddenly flooded and Kion was among them.
Interesting. The last Lion Guard dream I had was a nightmare and they had dropped the 6NA bomb. I can remember groaning out of annoyance so loudly in my sleep that I woke up. This was I believe before TLG even aired.
Oh god, and all the children of canon characters that'd put "Simba/Scar/ect's son/daughter" in their name tag! And all the Prideland vs Outland wars. Or the "Unborn cub" fetuses that'd run around trying to get adopted xD Man, those were the days
That last one sent chills down my spine.
Remember the ""EVIL"" versions of characters who were literally just them with red eyes, black bat wings and the angry emote? :,) God, those were the days

Impressive Title, oh god. I used to play on a spin-off of that game, Feral Heart and the TLK rping scene was all edgy OCs and relatives to canon characters. I knew one person who refused to make their own, completely original oc. There were some gems in the rough tho
I use to love camping in one of the maps and just watch everyone come back as ghosts(You could tell they were ghosts because WIIINGS) after being killed. PFFHAHAHA! I can also remember laughing so hard at them that they tried chasing me off by standing in front of me and typing “GRRRRWL!!!” expecting to chase me off while I just laughed harder at them!
I really can't figure out why they removed Zira's headstripe from her model. She has it in the paintings and it's not as if it would be overly complicated to have. They animate Fuli every episode after all.
Maybe it caused problems with the puppet rigging? Perhaps they forgot and by the time the puppet was created it was too late as it was being used in product? I don’t really know why they did this.
Speaking about overpopulation, it makes me wonder if they'd put like a restriction on breeding for the herds or something until the numbers go down. Though I guess in this time and age, that'd be considered as "the government controlling our lives" or something stupid with the hellsite.
Pffrt yea considering that they are ruled by a King. If anything I suspect they would be relocated to an area that can support their numbers if predators can’t control their population. Each predator has been noted to take down a certain animal that they can handle, it’s likely that they’re restricted to this in law form to help sustain population numbers and keep from over breeding.
I recently rewatched the entirety of TLG and the animation has improved so much from the original movie! It's interesting how they've been mixing 2D and 3D animation as well.
They’d almost have to mix 3D with 2D for stampede scenes. I mean they did this in TLK I and it worked with the wildebeest stampede. It certainly works with more than one animal in a herd in TLG.
