These images were “drawn” by you??? Nah, more like photoshopped and passed off as your originul the character donut steel. Drawing yourself licking your middle finger at the viewer was very immature. 2 to 1 says they are an anirolplaytard.
I know you’ve seen some of these recolored fan arts in the past but this time I feel I should emphasize to all artist just how bad stealing has gotten. On the left we Dukacia’s beautiful piece, on the left the edited version from aniroleplay.
These roleplayers don’t just do some crappy recolor. They literally will just color over your entire watermark like it’s no big deal. In the past when overlay was the fashion this could still identify the artist and prove it was stolen. Today though they block out the colors with a lasso tool and then on top of that, redo all the lines on the work. This is why when I have seen some artists posting watermarks on their images, I feel greatly disheartened. I see how they do not work for those who have taken graphics design or get taught how to edit so that it’s like they never happened.
I know the world cannot be perfect and I know this seems like tl;dr rant but this is the epitome of stealing and most would get away with it because the editor takes 8 hours to cover up anything they don’t like. This is why I feel the artists of the Lion King fandom need to take a stand as a whole to stop this. I know I am one person, though others do help with this at times but I just hate seeing people comment. “What a beautiful picture you did there.” While the copyright symbol is placed next to the editor’s name as if they own the piece and NO ONE acknowledges the real artist.
I was literally on the phone before TLG aired and we saw the Zuri and Tiifu sneak peek shot and an artist friend of mine and roleplayer in this fandom and on this site said “Awesome that means I can do more edits.”
Like I said I know Disney will never take notice but I just feel so upset by this and unfortunately every new rper is being brought up on the “just do edits” not even roleplaying, and most certainly not acknowledging the creator of the piece. Again I’m so sorry for this rant but I just feel that while many of these characters are ugly as hell, this type of theft is far more worrisome and I wish more artists would stand up to help stop this. Maybe just maybe, one day it can change and make a difference.
I’m frankly disgusted that artists who can fucking draw would waste their God given talents on recoloring something they didn’t make just to post on this eyesore website. That’s disheartening.. My heart weeps. Frankly this is worse than finding out artists you adore draws cub porn. Figuratively speaking of course.

When Vitani grew up, the last of scar’s Cubs would have as well, and when Lion Jesus and his ‘totes cannon soulmate’ have her, there would be no way that dead scar somehow gave dead Zira a cub.

They’re practically using everything found on Google like it was a free stock website and making money off artist’s work without their permission. That image there of Kiara making fun of Kopa was done by Kari/Dukacia.
This is disgusting. Not only are they supporting art theft, but they don’t care about unpaid artists. There’s three stolen images in these bootleg stickers. There’s one by Dukacia, one by Rex/Rexking, and a third one(bottom right corner of Simba and Nala running) I don’t even know the source of. These images all date back to 2007 and this person is trying to tell me that the stores that they got them from might no longer exist because they got these when they were a kid. That would put them under 13 if that were the case. There’s some extreme bullshit going on here.
Also, anyone who collects Lion King stuff only buys licensed merchandise from Disney, they don’t just randomly buy shit because it has Simba’s face on it. If I saw a bootleg art theft blanket, I’d raise hell. I wouldn’t buy it. I’d get the authorities involved because bootlegging is illegal in many states where I live.
