Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom

If anyone recognizes the original(or originals as they’ve been known to frankentrace), pleas let me know so I can let the original artist(s) know.

Hey peeps,
I wanted to let you know that there is an art thief on DeviantArt.
Some of you might know him/her: :devdigitalwinx:
Let’s start at the very beginning (as far as I can remember).

I always had a feeling this picture looked formiliar.

What a coincidence, is it just me or does these pictures look almost identical.
original is made by :devfantazyme:

Second picture.

Just carefully read the description (I can’t make it any bigger) but it says the following,
“so i made my first mythix, it’s for :iconhappy-mood:
I hope you like it and tell me what you think, other transformations will come later^^

Apparently this person whom we initially thought was underage is a red flag issue spanning several fandoms.

So the person whose been recoloring HydraCarina’s artwork that joined this week on dA has struck again. Exact match. Their excuse seems to be the old “It was in the movie so I traced it!!!” card. And this new one they traced was for someone’s contest. Boy I do hope they remove this entry.

This doesn’t set well with me. Artists around me are getting their files and reports sent back to them with the flip of a middle finger and a “Needs more information” bullshit bot reply from deviantART staff. Something’s not right in the merry old land of Oz, Toto.

I don’t necessarily think that Uncle Max’s ideal significant other is a Shenzi recolor that’s 10x his size. But hey, at least they drew it as opposed to traced based it. If this kid would put down the traced bases and drew like this more, they’d find...

Carry over from post /107119586209. This kid doesn’t understand that by asking for real time currency, they’re poking a sleeping dog with a stick.

Pretty sure this files under the category of piracy.

I’m beginning to think it’s universal that Timon fans are all either really young, or too immature for the internet. They all seem to enjoy Timon in the freakiest of clothing from thongs to dirty nappies and even briefs.. and they all can’t seem to like others opinions or ideals of the character and CAN’T STAND cursing.

All this time I thought Vitani or Shenzi fans were this weird and freaky.

I woke up to that comment above on one of my satirical drawings that pokes fun at rabid cross species shippers in the TLK fandom, curiously I look at their gallery and HOLYSHIT– Rabid sexually stimulated fanbrat alert that has the hots for Timon in dirty nappies.

Last month I tried explaining to this person that recoloring screenshots in acid laced kool-aid vomit doesn’t constitute as a “style” and they go on telling me they didn’t trace it or recolor it and how it’s their work etc etc. That overlay certainly looks like they traced it. And what makes a style different and unique to the artist is how they draw that subject. For example, Disney has a very wide known style of drawing. It varies from film to film but the subtle differences are still there to where we recognize who drew it. The same goes for any artists who draws original art or fan art. There are different yet subtle changes that you recognize as their works even through traced or copied recreations. Recoloring Nala into some circus tent doesn’t count. It may have worked for the old masters but it’s not going to work for today’s lazy youth.
