All that was said was that their “art” was copied off some other popular artist. I am assuming that’s all it was as the person confronting them very maturely wasn’t even trolling at all and this person hid everything like a coward and started acting a victim. Not TLK related but I find this brats behavior hilariously saddening. 

Let’s get one thing perfectly clear. Artwork is not your base. If it’s on the internet, you have to ASK for permission to use it. It’s not something we traced. We worked hard to get here where we are today with out skill. You have no right taking our property and defacing it claiming it is a free to use base. 

They’re not even trying to copy/trace.. They’re just cutting it out of the original drawing and pasting their name over the original artist’s name 

Name not blocked out because I suggest anyone who draws or has drawn pregnant lionesses should block this person. They’re obsessed with forcing down how a pregnancy should look like and not doing it constructively. I would love to say this is a troll, but this person is serious. If I’m not mistaken, they’ve been banned before. 

Pretty sure the one on the left is fan art that’s recolored poorly. I don’t recognize it however. Any followers recognize it? 

This person got permission for the base. But let me just state that by allowing people to trace your works, you’re opening a can of worms. In my honest opinion, people are going to see that you are allowing traced bases of your works which means to kids “Come, recolor my artwork! I’m a push over!" 

I’ve seen people time and time again allow their work to be turned into traced bases, only to have kids snatch other works of theirs and recolor those works instead of the traced base. Then, being soft hearted, the artist allows it after the kid "apologizes”. 

This bothers me greatly, but I try really hard not to let it even tho I’ve seen this happen time and time again. You really need a sturdy backbone when dealing with kids and protecting your art. 

This is also why I see traced basing as nothing more than recoloring. 

Likely a troll or child. 

One does not simply tell me to ignore art theft. If I recognize something and it’s fishy. I will raise my voice. 

That’s it. This is all this kid does is make stupid parodies to screenshots featuring turtles and ponies. Damn seeing Mike under the “Working on my roar” line gives me the cringies.. 

As of recently, the artist NostalgicChills of deviantART has been making light of recoloring in the fandom. She’s so far been able to avoid the brats from that side of the fandom. This one isn’t a recolorist, but they showed hate towards NC for their bemusing comic. Kudos to NC for keeping it real.
