Oi vey, lots of art theft on this one here. It’s all too easy to see as well, though there are a few artists I don’t recognize. :L
Oh God they even stole from the fandom’s beloved Simbamarasa who passed away from difficulties after recovering from pneumonia. I warned them the fandom might turn into a linch mob if they kept this up. This is actually the first time I’ve seen anyone steal from her.
While @kourukon asked them to credit her image, this is a literal color over that was poorly cut out of the original image.
I honestly feel hella dumb that I didn’t notice this until now, but at least I saw it now. Basically, someone made a base out of a contest prize that was graciously given to me by Torro-Torro, from Nala15’s last contest.
If it wasn’t enough to add insult to injury, that artwork that Torro made me includes one of MY OWN characters, and the thief also has it up for points! I left a comment for the thief, but that’s honestly all I can do, no thanks to dA axing the report option. It just hurts me that someone would do this, especially when it was a gift to me from a contest, and includes one of my characters. I honestly just hate everything right now…
I thought that account belonged to Torro-Torro? Meanwhile the only thing you can do is hope that Torro files a DMCA takedown considering it’s her work.
I must admit #Disney is like a damn kangaroo hopping all over the place with their story arcs. I feel like I’m watching Naruto when the arcs are all over the place and not focussing on the titular character’s development.
Still on the fence about the age gap and the whole SP plot line being thrown out the window. But seeing a cub with light colored ear rims warms my cold and bitter heart. It tells me that they’re listening to the fandom when we’re creating fan characters.
Given her weary state, having been starved to near death and slapped halfway across pride rock, she wouldn’t be able to tell her son from her husband. Color inheritance aside, Simba does not resemble nor is a clone of Mufasa.
I love it when repost thieves on devianTART claims something along these lines when nothing they post is theirs and then when they do draw it there’s no artistic discipline with their sketches. That their original “art” looks like they picked up a pencil for the first time in their life.
