- The only problem with using base mashes from people on Animation Source is that they specifically ask you not to. Just because it’s MSPaint doesn’t mean it’s a base you can freely use, so don’t fucking use it.
- There’s a difference in giving people clearer information on a subject and harassment. I’ve been on the other end of harassment and I don’t much care for it. But if anyone were to politely ask me to no longer give information on a situation I would kindly back off as per regards.

I suspect they’re a child because I tried politely asking them if they got permission from either to recolor their artwork/character only to get my comment hidden.
I’m likely going to retire my deviantART avatar seeing as too many children see it and automatically assume that I’m a tr0ll when it’s an inside joke.
So the user post’s a image with out permission from the owner that was blocked and assume’s just because they paid for means no action will be taken.
the user who took the image cut out the owners signature and refuses to give credit. “ i know things about copyright right laws and so forth!!!’
Not the first time the user has pulled stunts like taking art and so forth.
This person sounds like my 6 year old nephew where in he doesn’t understand the concept of online ownership.
You own joint custody of the artwork. The art is, and isn’t yours. The art is yours because you paid for it, but the art isn’t yours to claim originul art donut steel. If the artist has specific requests on the work they did for you, listen to them!
Otherwise you’re going to find yourself blacklisted and word of mouth is going to spread so fucking fast you won’t be able to commission other artists.
When people order artwork from me, all I ask is that they give credit and keep my signature on the art if they want to upload the artwork of their character. It’s a simple no nonsense request. I’ve not once had any problems with anyone.
But this schlomo.. holy fuck.. Someone needs to alert artists beware!
Maybe if you have good knowledge (and/or a degree in) 3D sculpting/rigging/animating. Otherwise, Disney/Pixar ain’t going to pick up some homely little child 13 year old child off the streets and put them to work
Disney’s very serious about what they want in their hired staff. Pixar too.
So this person traces and recolors SilverBreeze’s frankentraced images and claims Original fan art donut steel. Person B approaches them and politely tells them that SilverBreeze doesn’t allow people to recolor non base images. Person A tells person B that they’d take care of the situation and just up and blocks Person B. Then Person A claims that they’ll only block people if they feel harassed. Yea, okay, so I guess politely asking them to remove artwork they clearly took from another person without permission constitutes as threat of harassment.
I can understand this fandom can implode on itself but only if you dun fucked up, and honey, blocking someone over cannibal recoloring, you dun fucked up.
Not only are they recoloring fan art from TLKFAA artists, but they are also stealing several fan characters from artists such as The Black Cat and claiming them as their own.
What really blows my mind is they claim to have a 4 month old daughter and that they’re 18 years old.. judging by their gallery of recolored fan art, stolen characters, and recolored bases… Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa—- I don’t buy that story.
