Long story short, this person followed me the other day and I decided to check him out. Turned out that they took someone else’s artwork and traced it then put theirs beside his for comparison. Then when Claire-cooper called him out on it and after I had politely told him that the artwork needs permission and proper credit, he pulls this. Another fat dumb and happy individual who thinks we’re hurting their REPUTAYSHUNZ because how dare we call him out for not crediting or asking the artist for permission.
Any boob with motor skills can trace and dress it up to look pretty. This one seems to think that he’s hot shit with it.
According to an undisclosed source, the newest art thief, and loser recolor baby, dragon-legend28 is Gryphonsart(a past art thief who threw a huge tantrum over getting caught) trying to get the same amount of attention to their art that some of the other known artists get when people steal their stuff.
Dragon-legend28 is their sock puppet account.
Well, I was gonna comment saying I liked their drawing but that little line right there just turned me away. Telling me they’re a rabid weaboo and one of those fans.
So we asked them to redesign their bootleg Rho and this is what they did. They slopped on fire decals and rando markings. Yeah…. this just makes it look like every other neon barf the fandom comes up with. It still resembles Rho too much for comfort.
This person must be bored so they decided to pick a fight with me over my 10+ hours worth of work in coloring Disney coloring pages for fun and experimental reasons. According to his logic, my 10+ hours of hard work = the same as a 2-minute fillbucket traced base.
Perhaps he should bitch at the contract artists that get paid to do the same thing I do? The only difference is professionals are given a sketch and they have to ink it themselves.
He doesn’t seem to understand that I’m wanting to be one of those contract artists someday and have the privilege to paint those pretty merchandise cliparts we see and adore on Disney products. If Disney sees my work reposted on Google and wants to hire me, they can’t find me! That wherein lies my dilemma of reposting my shit without permission or credit.
I get the suspicion he’s from the anti-watermark culture so he’s picking a fight because how dare I watermark my hard work.
