That’s actually not the first time I’ve heard this actually. I can’t remember whom it was but they had Malka and Tama’s cubs adopted by Zira. Another one even had it where Zira couldn’t successfully give birth to cubs without it being a still birth every time and used this as her way of adopting cubs of her own.

If they’re flooded with enough spam marks they should look into it.
You know, I've recently come up with a pride that was like, the Egyptian royalty of the lion world. A desert pride, the royalty inbred a lot, so bad that it was brother's and sisters. It's stopped in recent times (Though the aftershock's are still felt) but when they became more well known to the other prides they were heavily put off breeding with even cousins and stopped. Thoughts? c:

The initial idea was that he was looking for that perfect heir but when Kash was born, he grew fearful of his strangle hold on the throne. I HC that white or pale pelts mean change in the TLK world. And this truly terrified Scar to the point of seeing to it the cub died by an accident.
Tbh my Scar didn't have cubs as he wanted to cling onto power for as long as he could. When he would've had one, he would've been an old man. My Kianga just comes from a side AU where he had cubs earlier

I have a few headcanons knocking about.
- Nala had an older brother whom she tried to seek his help when she escaped Scar’s Reign
- Mheetu is actually Simba’s brother in my HC
- The rise of the Lion Guard started with a single devoted brother who wanted nothing more than to protect his family and his kingdom
- The reason Kion can talk to his grandfather is because he’s still young and youths are capable of channeling the dead
To name a few.

I agree, kinda creepy and cringy at the same time.
Shoutout to the anon who was worried about their cousin inbreeding theories; it's fine and actually a lot common then you may think. However may I suggest to you and anyone else with similar theories, adding the occasional new blood? As you see, the more cousin marriages, the more tainted the blood line becomes, leading to deformities. As such even royalty would have someone out of the family join in, usually someone of high class, to keep the line clean :)
