I’d say use existing characters as examples. They change subtly ever so softly. It’s hardly noticed. But when you color pick them on their day colors you can see that there’s some change.
Color pick Disney characters and make note of how many hues are changed in either direction of the color spectrum. I’ve done this before and I’ve noted that it’s actually useful when applying it to your own FCs.

Something kinda opposite from the current discussion but what's people's headcanons, if they have one where Scar had daughters but gave no fucks, on why he let them stay? To me, if they were useless to him, why did he bother keeping them? They'd be dead weights
True, however, I’ve been reading some fan fiction involving royalty and if Scar ever grew interested, he’d marry them out to solidify any allies or contracts with other royal families.

So I typed in Scar lion king for references and I can see why people were confused about the rumor of Mufasa and Scar not being brothers; some places are kinda reporting it as fact. Idk though if they're getting confused with the old original concept which was Scar being a rogue, or if it was before (Confusion )

Tbh I never used to mind out of canon ships. It was when people began pressuring them as fact (Scar/Sarafina. Well they used to, sort of calmed down now) or when they just gave shitty "prove" (Zuri/Tiifu 'BC THEY NUZZLED EACHOTHER11!!! 8D'). Also I do kinda find it rude when they comment on canon ships like "Personally I support *namexname* BUT NICE ART" because like the picture isn't there for you to shout out your ship, it's for you to enjoy. But that's personally me.
That’s what makes me anti [ship name]. These shippers that get aggressive and shove it in my face as proof then call me trash for not agreeing. IE Tiizu shippers when the lion guard first came out.
