Well, that escalated pretty fast. This eager puppy went from 0 to vicious really fast. Again, while I’m sure they’re well aware of the problems this fandom has, it’s nothing short to say that they’re being aggressively defensive over how I approached them. 9 to 1 aggressive defending usually means they’re caught in the act and are baring their teeth. Even Panther85 said the ‘style’ resembled a pic they uploaded a couple days ago on their Instagram. In the meantime, I shot @kitchikishangout a note asking them about whether or not they’re chummy with this eager puppy. Seeing as they boasted their fursona (while it was pretty) was besties with their Febz. An act I find weirds me out. It’s one thing if we’re mutuals and I give it the go ahead. But if it’s a rando regardless whether they go radioactive at the drop of a hat, that weirds me out.

We’re only upset with them if A) they reposted fan art without credit and/or permission B) Recolored that fanart really fucking poorly or at all without credit and/or permission C) made something cringy that’s against the site’s rules(For example: Queen Callista’s  “Ghost Nala”) or D) stole fan characters in attempts to pass them off as canon or their OC donut steel. Since they can’t seem to grasp that, that’s why I say youtube recolor culture are full of numb idiots without two brain cells to rub against to form a thought. 

You got a link to this mind numbing fantrum? Or a name of who made it?

I am laughing far too hard rn at their reaction. They confused fandom with videos. And they act as though TC has no right to file a DMCA when her content is being used and abused without her permission. Like I said, self-entitled princess bitch. 

I find it hilarious that I was just trying to start some dialogue and talk about Timon and Pumbaa, but instead I get blocked. :’D people are weird.

I always found the animated cartoon to be awkward, and have a lot of garish colors I didn’t enjoy. Which bites, cause I like Timon and Pumbaa, but they coulda done better.

Throwing a huge fantrum, crying about quitting, and basically making a call out post isn’t the right way about doing this. I’ve seen this a hundred times over and it’s always kids who think highly of their recoloring skills that throw a huge fantrum over being called out. 

It’s better they quit or learn to draw now than focus on recolors for their popularity that will ultimately crash and burn later on. If you want to post your OCs, then use traced bases. If you can’t draw, then color in traced bases which are basically glorified digital coloring pages. Tracing should be used as a learning tool, not a get-popular-fast scheme.

Pt 2:

So probably about 10 minutes after he was booted, he tried to rejoin (and was declined). Well I got this little message thread in my inbox. It ended with him blocking me again. He unblocked me this morning, so I fully expect a message from him in the next few hours.

But I love how he says I’m not even a lion king fan. Shit. Guess I gotta delete my DA with all of my fan characters now. My TLK fan card has been revoked.

I didn’t know we had to steal fan art to be real TLK fans. Guess I should rage quit this blog since my fan card has also been revoked! 

Agreed. And anyone who uses that type of slang is a dateless wonder in my book.
