And the response was "you don't know nothing about anatomy because you draw cartoons" or something like that. After that idk because I got back to avoiding them. Is it just me or artists that draw realism (specially felines) are super arrogant and full of themselves? I have seem a fair share specially over tlkfaa a few years ago... Nowadays I rather avoid these guys ._.

I hate to agree, but I can relate. Sometimes your best option is to avoid people if their interest disgusts you. It wasn’t Rhoadie’s cub porn obsession that turned me down from being friends with her. Actually. It was her bitter attitude. By rights she should have told me that she and her friend had made up, but instead took the opportunity to scream at me even tho I apologized to her friend for the miscommunication. I just no. Not after that. It was later that I heard about her cub porn obsession.

About melanistic humans... Melanism is excess of pigment on species that usually don't have dark color. African (and descendants) -could- be considered melanistic BUT that's a common trait in humans, not a genetic mutation. There's a thing called melasma that causes skin to get darker paths (kinda like "inverted albinism") but usually it's caused by sun. Tl;dr don't think humans can have melanism

Oh another thing about melanistic humans... Proof that melanism isn't likely possible is that if you have a parent with dark skin and one with white skin, the kid is likely to born lighter than one but darker than the other. Melanism (for being a mutation) don't mix like that, either it's there or not. I come from a very mixed family so trust me :P
