So here we are in the shadow of Youtube’s apocalypse, and what I’m understanding is, it don’t matter if you don’t own characters or franchise’s, you can third party report anyone you fucking want. 

Go forth my children and report all those children that use illegally obtained fan art for story videos! 

I’m not sure what Youtube is even doing anymore as far as DMCA reporting. But this gives me some hope that they’re going to listen to reports on problematic accounts that actually are breaking rules and take them down. 

That means accounts that are stealing fan characters and fan art for their ‘OC life stories’ videos will be removed. At least here’s hoping! The Lion King fandom on Youtube is a clusterfuck of little children using Google as a free resource fairy for their shitty OCs.

I’m sorry but that’s not how copyright laws work to protect your creative content Derek. Just because you don’t like negative criticism is no excuse for the way you’ve been behaving and you should be stripped of your youtube account for abusing the copyright system.

The thing is, when I did an overlay of the post on deviantART, it was a match for match. It’s as if they just took the screenshot from Fanpop, lightened the colors a bit, and then just watermarked the screenshot because even the clouds were a match. I call bullshit on this.
