Newsflash, every time an artist creates art copyright ownership automatically belongs to them. Just because we post our art online isn’t us saying “Our art is free, come hither wayward eWarrior and take my shit. I don’t care”. We post our art online for feedback as well as many others do it to make connections in their craft. IE Commissions for either leisure or professional use. EDUCATE yourself mother fucker.

The stupid coming from the OP here is over whelming. Many of these images aren’t even found on deviantART but TLKFAA.
I question whether or not they took the time to see whether or not the images they used in their video are fair use. Just because it’s uploaded to deviantART doesn’t mean it’s free and fair use unless the artist says otherwise.
While watching Flux Baddies on Youtube I happened to glance at this. Needless to say I was not howling with laughter along with Yogscast Kim and Duncan but more so at this ignorant fucker who thinks that just because our art and characters is online that must mean it belongs to the show they were fan created for and is fair use.

I know it seems so small but I actually felt sad; how can a crappy slideshow of other people’s pictures get more views then someone’s drawn speedpaint? :/ It’s like the people who do screenshots and base colouring on da but get more views then people who actually draw their shit…
Sadly that’s how youtube works. Lazy kids who troll Google for pics to take get more pageviews compared to artists who post the progress speedpaints of their own work. It’s like with the pony fandom. More kids get asspats for tracing and recoloring from the show as well as over use of the pony creator where as fan artists hardly get any attention. You’ll be lucky if you can recreate the show accordingly and gain popularity that way but you’ll be overshadowed by the tracerbabies. It’s disgusting really.
