Inb4 recolored neon lion ponies.
Lately I got into a long heated argument with someone who can’t seem to understand how deviantART points system works. deviantART has made the points system for those who don’t have access to a paypal or credit card. Frankly I don’t mind it as I refuse to give them a cent because they refuse to do their jobs in the art theft department. However I would like to point out the following rules from the deviantART points page:

- #3 Can not revert to real time money
Plain as the nose on your face.
With the newly installed commission widget, you can convert the points you earned to a check that can be mailed to you.
HOWEVER: You can only convert what you earned through the commission widget, not your entire points collection in bulk.
This does not mean that you can go out and use the commission widget for traced base adoptables. That action would be art theft as you would be able to convert the points to real time currency.
Because you are un able to convert points to real time currency outside of the commission widget, you are doing no harm in making adoptables.
In conclusion, you are perfectly okay with making points adoptables from traced bases.
Until Disney steps in and says “Stop doing this.”, it’s perfectly fine.
It’s time for a fun little contest. Using one of these traced bases provided, create the ugliest acid laced kool-aid lion you can think of! As an end result, I’ll draw the top three that are the “prettiest”. Tag your contest entry under #Laughable-lion-king-art contest. This contest will last three days or four, depending on how many people are interested.
Credit you? Credit you for WHAT? All you did was trace fan art from Tailbrush without proper permission!
Personally #4 and #5 would make a pretty character.
But they proclaim that #’s 2 and 6 are “because the tear ducks make the eyes look black!” and refuse to fix the situation then go on to pull the color blind card.
And watch out, critiquing this brat will end result in butthurt and crying about trolls.
