I have no idea if Savu allows making bases out of thier regular art or not, but leaving out watermarked background is lame anyway.
Last I heard from them they said only comic. Not their commissioned works. Not sure if their personal art falls under this category.

Maybe if his spots were more simplified and the stripes were done away with on his tail. But I definitely like his colors! And you tried to shade it to make it look more third dimensional.
