I found this on a user’s account on dA, which I’m pretty sure is tracing a lot of stuff on there. I know this isn’t theirs and have seen the original work before, though I can’t remember who made it. Though I do remember the original artwork was part of a redesign for Kiara.
Ugh… her.. Yea this one’s been in the gutter since they joined, tracing and frankentracing everything in the Winx and TLK fandom. This person isn’t going to change when they say they are.
Just because Mr. tombancroft1 worked on the film doesn’t mean you are entitled to his personal works. Permission is still required even when they post art you want to use. I do not see anywhere on his profile that it’s okay to trace or recolor his works without permission.
Continuation of the previous post.
It appears as tho they came after the fact to ask Zelfa whether or not they can trace their art. And then flagged Zelfa’s comment as spam when they told the kidling to remove their art.
So NostalgicChills just noted me this one. She commented asking this 12 year old if they got permission in a non violent curious manner. The kidling not only said that “it was inspired” by their art, but also had a stick shoved up their ass that they felt they needed to Report NC for asking them. And if they got permission, how come X-Zelfa is telling NC thanks for the mention?
The logic here with this kidling is lacking.
This person was expecting to pass off a traced piece of fan art for a character application to a group known to reject tracings and traced bases. The original artist is Saigon/Red-Cayenne of deviantART.
>Gets caught tracing fan art (again for the upteenth time)
>Tries to prove they’re original with a process trace
>“I only traced the base!!!!!"
Yet another goon that thinks fan art is a free base just because it’s on the internet
Please note that this is not a tutorial on how to draw. This is someone trying to prove that they didn’t trace when they actually did. They even lied to me that they stopped tracing and "Learned their lesson” yet they continue to trace to this day.
So I came across this hard copy today. And it seems that we’re amidst a new generation of misinformed youth. The first three comments are from what appears to be a white knight for this new deviantART member. They seem to think that when we claim copyrights, it’s to the character that we depict in our art, not our artwork.
The last comment is from the “artist” who hard copied the fan art. That’s all they seem to be doing and they have the ego of an entitled child.
I think bronies are going to replace the dumb blonde jokes if this keeps up. Said bronies seem to think that simple MSPaint tracing = vexel when this ain’t no such animal. The one that posted this claimed it was a vexel. In your wet dreams.
The one on the bottom right entitled “Relaxing” Has been copied off of albionraven666fanart. I feel like I’ve seen the one entitled “Sleeping” before.
Uh, I should have probably overlaid the layers on my last submission better. But here’s the other traced image I was talking about (it’s weird one can’t submit multiple images at a time but hey, it’s not my blog!). It was pretty easy to tell with this one that it was a trace from HydraCarina. :|
Okay that’s not from whom I thought you were speaking of.
