@xxtc-96xx I guess you’re not allowed to defend your content anymore!
Someone isn’t well educated in just how terrible the TLK fandom really is and how many fucking times Koda, Asha, and Leah get stolen to understand the situation.
I agree that one can’t copyright a name (In fact you’d have to shell out a lot of money to trademark a name and a character for that matter). However, 9 times out of 10 Asha, Koda, and Leah on youtube are stolen.
I’m amazed this person decided they were going to defend a really terribly edited video featuring character theft.
I stand corrected. Stilted dialogue, filter abuse, and even more OOCness for Asha. Trying to decide if filter abused Kovu is Koda or not. Doesn’t say.
I will never understand how people confuse fan characters as canon in this fandom…
Right? That’s like the biggest bullshit excuse in recolor culture. If they’re familiar with the movies, then they’re familiar with canon characters. Also, to the redneck sheep claiming you can’t copyright names; Try telling that to Disney who copyrights the name Mickey Mouse.
Pretty sure they’re stealing TC’s cubs for this bc I mean srsly. Maybe one name can be counted as coincidence but ALL of them being named Asha, Koda and Leah? Yeah, nah…
Even if it’s not meant to be TC’s fan cubs it’s still suspicious they chose those names out of the thousands of other names out there.
@xxtc-96xx Looks like recolor culture strikes your cubs again on youtube!
They can deny they aren’t her cubs all they want either by face claim or what ever else trick they have up their mud stained sleeve, but they still chose those three specific popular fan names out of a dozen others.
NocturnalPride is quickly becoming a repeat offender. I can’t remember who’s art they recolored before and tried selling it as an adoptable. But I’m being told they’re doing it again. Doubtful they’re willing to learn. So consider this a PSA warning about buying adoptables from this person.
No idea who this Jupie person is who’s signature is on Arju’s art. But if anyone knows, let me know, please and thank you.
Update: It turns out NocturnalPride is Jupie.
An admin from TheLionKingFanArt group on dA isn’t paying close enough attention to the submissions and is allowing traced screenshots and edited screenshot ‘memes’. It’s leaving me hella confused and a teensy bit upset since the group
Someone should tell TC that they’re selling her art… I think >C
@xxtc-96xx Your art is being bootlegged for product! Welcome to the club!
Its sad bc this Laurine person seems to have a understanding of editing. Sure, her story telling is really bad to the point that she should get herself a story editor to slap some sense into her but her editing has good potential. If only she would learn to drawwww. Honestly kinda tempted to leave a comment that says she should learn to art so she can be reasonably talented in both areas instead of bucket fill tooling-stealing fan art and screen shots. Though I am sure it would get me lynched by rabid fan brats bc sweet jesus lord almighty look at the views it has and how many damn episodes 0_0
That’s the problem with Youtube repost culture. You get a cult following that will blindly attack anyone that speaks even remotely negative about their senpai waifu. You either gotta have a backbone to crack a few of theirs, or hide under a rock where it’s safe.
I’m beginning to notice a trend where Youtubers slap neon barf on a TLK lion and call it an originul the character donut steel. Other fandom fanbrats do that too but it seems to stem from Youtube.
I can’t when they recolor that shot of cub Kiara walking on the log and badly photoshop RecolorKiara’s head on Leo’s body.
I’m going to Hell for laughing at all these recolor Youtube series, I’m sorry.
Think of them as a better version of Youtube Poop if that will make you feel better.
Well then, he’s certainly thin-skinned and can’t stand the fact that other people like SP. He missed the fact that I said he’s allowed to hate it but people that like SP do exist. If you’re a fan of SP, why not drop by and tell Bart-Toons you like SP in a very polite and friendly manner.
