That person is blind. Fluffy, by now, is his own individual. A blank slate. A cardboard clone of baby Simba. He never had a name in the early scripts until the team started calling him Fluffy for lack of a namesake for him.
I was surprised I did see much theft on instagram other than baser babies making bases from fan art. I found this in the lion king tag.

It’s still a shock to hear people admit to buying bootleg merch rather than buying from a trustworthy company like Fathead. And people wonder why Disney is protective of their copyrights?

A huge warning about an art thief on Instagram. They’ve apparently made their account private, so I can’t see whether they bootlegged my art or not.

There’s rampant art theft in that fandom then they migrate fandoms and bring it over to our home. Nah-uh. Not gonna have that.
So I happen to be subscribed to this channel and was really psyched to see this video. All lion king themed and all as I was wondering how deep they might delve into the obscure semi-canon facts of the fandom And then…
At the 6:28 marker it all fell apart. I am all for fair use but when it comes to fanart being used versus a plethora of available Disney screencaps this annoyed the piss out of me. They used Mafumathelion’s piece that I can only find the pinterest link to here:

Now I know this blog has posted some videos about children who make mashups and fan edits on youtube but I would like to just say something that’s pertinent to this channel and one of the main reasons why I posted this. They are currently being sued in the 9th circuit court of appeals for using someone else’s picture’s without permission and said person is making them at risk of losing their channel. (The owner has a video on the channel and google is wonderful) However, they also make money lots of money, selling merchandise and from ad revenue. Obviously they could claim fair use with this and I’d concur with the screencaps but to know they made me watch an ad, know they’re looking to raise (and are receiving donations of a $30k goal to pay for their lawyer fees) money for their court appeals, all because they decided to take the first google image they found and used it in their video greatly disturbs me.
This is probably very long and most people won’t read but what I am trying to convey is left unchecked this is what those baby manips and other video editors/roleplayers will do with other artists’ works. I don’t know if the artists can do anything about it but I thought I could at least sound a small alarm and raise awareness to this.
I left a comment. Time to see if she straight up blocks me, or tells me off.

Found this absolute gem while looking threw some peoples page due to recent drama. I wish I could find the screenshot I took of when that user mentioned sent me a birthday “wishes” that consisted of just butts and butt fetish shit. Up to that point I though I had blocked them a while before :/
Nidopan is laughably hypocritic. They’re doing this just because the fandom ran WeaselBear off (who may or may not still be on dA but lurking under an assumed identity). They don’t really know PolancoEmi well enough to understand why they’re the bane of the TLK fandom. If we’re against popufur tracers, more than likely Nidopan will just support the person out of spite.
WeaselBear’s entourage is back again. And this time they’re consoling an ignorant brony who wet themselves like Ralph Wiggum when I and @xxtc-96xx commented on their stamp. It’s really fucking hard to keep a straight face as I type this as I’m laughing to the point of wheezing right now. Because I commented on the stamp as politely as ever and the butthurt brony just went psycho and blocked us.
Nidopan is still ignorant as ever over why the fandom revolted against WeaselBear.
