I must admit #Disney is like a damn kangaroo hopping all over the place with their story arcs. I feel like I’m watching Naruto when the arcs are all over the place and not focussing on the titular character’s development.
Still on the fence about the age gap and the whole SP plot line being thrown out the window. But seeing a cub with light colored ear rims warms my cold and bitter heart. It tells me that they’re listening to the fandom when we’re creating fan characters.
From the latest Lion Guard trailer… That cub next to Kiara, could it be Zuri? Also, I think this confirms that Kiara & Kion are the same age. Which is disappointing.
Latest trailer? Link plx
Found this on that Disney Book Group site. I’m really liking the design of the young hyena there.
This screams fan creation.. Remember the “Can’t wait to be queen” cover?
I’m having a hard time trusting this, all things Disney professional quality considering. Not to mention just last month fans were discussing how they’d like to see this happen. Nope, something’s fishy here..
New covers have surfaced. And considering the conspiracy around the first cover, I’m still hesitant of this being a legit book.
But this still raises questions. Just exactly when is this taking place? Because I’ve been told by official sources that it takes place AFTER TLK II, when Kiara should be a teenager. And this is Kiara here and she looks to be a cub compared to Kion in the back?
Whaaaa
So a while back I posted what I thought Scar’s guard might look like in theory. But low and behold I get some pompous meat bag what thinks they’re an expert on The Lion Guard and throw a huge temper tantrum when I politely asked them to re read the artist comments and how dare I tell her that I will let the film correct me.
This child was behaving very much like how Werebereus would which is scary to think there’s a second one of him out there.
Just because Kion is Simba’s son ≠ Kopa.
Kopa is a darker shade of gold
Kion is a lighter shade of gold
Kopa has red eyes
Kion has amber eyes
Kopa has a Vitani like tuft of hair
Kion has a Scar swoosh
Kopa’s nose is pink
Kion’s nose is darker red
Kopa has narrow bushy brows
Kion’s brows are thicker and less messy
Kopa doesn’t have cub spots
Kion does have cub spots
Kopa’s ear rims are black
Kion’s ear rims are a soft brown
Tell me again how these two are a like and are the same. Seriously Kopa fans shut up. You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re blindly worshipping a character that isn’t even canon and your judgement is clouding your mind.
The Lion Guard is reserved for the second born of the King. With everyone crying over how it should be Kopa instead of Kion, shut up. Kopa was “Simba’s first born” not his second. Your crying over a fan fiction character is blinding your logic.
What about other western cartoons that had magical marks? Is that copying off MLP? What about Anime? There are magical marks in Anime. I bet by your logic those are copying off MLP too! Oh and Care Bears are totes McGoats copying off MLP!!!! FO SHO!!!

Why are they not going to be in The Lion Guard? It’s a simple thing called Copyrights. Remember when Hasbro could only use Spike and AppleJack for the new G4 MLP series? Same deal here.

So tell me again how these cubs are written well, TLK fandom. Tell me again.
