also the picture is just for a silly reference so don’t get mad about it, mostly bc if I recall correctly Leo was inspired by Bambi and often times Lion King was called Bamblet in its development. So its why they’re saying that.

I actually didn’t know that bit of info. And yes, Osamu Tezuka did actually make a Bambi manga with Disney’s permission because he fell in love with it so much, and it inspired him to create Leo/Kimba(Don’t believe me? Look up Bambi Manga). It’s not his fault Amurrican dubbing companies wanted to rename Leo to Simba and just changed the S to K–unintentionally using a Swahili word that means SHIT–which started this shit.

Someone posted this, claiming that Kimba was killing Skmba in this. I don’t get it, they look like they’re falling.

It looks more like Kimba is reaching out for his target but Simba looks like he realized he made a mistake with his leap of faith. 

Let’s cup our mouths and shut up about how we hate Frozen if you think the hype is too much shall we? The whole reason Frozen is getting over rated is because not only all the praise, but also, the equally (if not more) amount of hate it’s getting. This is getting to the point of being ridiculous. But they’re just adding to the Frozen bonfire and just had to drag the great Kimba Simba debate into this.

Far be it from me to give the Kimba fandom any credit due to their never-ending vitriol towards The Lion King (which I personally consider the best animated feature of all time), but I discovered something on a Kimba fansite about The Lion King controversy. The Lion King wasn’t a rip-off at all!…

I’m just going to reblog this because this is a good read and informal. 

I see no similarities other than the fact that the cartoon features lions. Disney and Tezuka were inspired off each other greatly. Tezuka inspired TLK, and Disney inspired Kimba with Bambi. 

Oh Kimba Fanbrats. I’m quite surprised there isn’t a blog dedicated to the fail in the Kimba fandom. There’s enough of it it seems.
