A legit screencap like this could give the freaks of the fandom the wrong idea.
I woke up to that comment above on one of my satirical drawings that pokes fun at rabid cross species shippers in the TLK fandom, curiously I look at their gallery and HOLYSHIT– Rabid sexually stimulated fanbrat alert that has the hots for Timon in dirty nappies.
I suppose you’d have to be delirious if you’re proud of your original character donut steel Shenzi recolor FC.
Last month I tried explaining to this person that recoloring screenshots in acid laced kool-aid vomit doesn’t constitute as a “style” and they go on telling me they didn’t trace it or recolor it and how it’s their work etc etc. That overlay certainly looks like they traced it. And what makes a style different and unique to the artist is how they draw that subject. For example, Disney has a very wide known style of drawing. It varies from film to film but the subtle differences are still there to where we recognize who drew it. The same goes for any artists who draws original art or fan art. There are different yet subtle changes that you recognize as their works even through traced or copied recreations. Recoloring Nala into some circus tent doesn’t count. It may have worked for the old masters but it’s not going to work for today’s lazy youth.
Look at all that stolen fan art for this drawing app. If you can’t get Google to remove the apps that have stolen your artwork, you can raise hell with the developers personally. I’ve noted that they have their eMails attached for contact purposes.

There’s disgusting, and then there’s putrid.. brother, this is borderline putrid right here..
This person also doesn’t seem to acknowledge the fact that the lionesses don’t do most of the territory marking. It’s the males that mark the territories while they’re out patrolling.
Killing your brother is just another Wednesday on the savannah. Seriously, no one cares.
This popped up on my pinterest dashboard.. you can’t expect us to believe that Disney followed the laws of nature with this film do you? Many things have been explained by Disney animators and directors who worked on the film who denounce these. While the fans often fall upon these as good storytelling, and that the three lionesses we see in that scene before Simba’s bath are considered to be the deleted sisters of Sarabi fandom wide, nothing bound by the laws of nature is actual fact in this film. This film is an anthromorphic film, not a feral film. Meaning the animals follow humanistic behavior, not feral behavior.
Yes, lions fall upon infanticide when a new male takes control, yes it’s the dark maned lions that get all the ladies, yes, lionesses are all related and rarely if ever disband from their pride at all, and yes, lions even have a grudge with hyenas, often leading to their meals being stolen from the hyenas kills 90% of the time, but that wasn’t the direction Disney storytellers were going for with The Lion King.
