Yet another goon that thinks fan art is a free base just because it’s on the internet
Please note that this is not a tutorial on how to draw. This is someone trying to prove that they didn’t trace when they actually did. They even lied to me that they stopped tracing and "Learned their lesson” yet they continue to trace to this day.
So I came across this hard copy today. And it seems that we’re amidst a new generation of misinformed youth. The first three comments are from what appears to be a white knight for this new deviantART member. They seem to think that when we claim copyrights, it’s to the character that we depict in our art, not our artwork.
The last comment is from the “artist” who hard copied the fan art. That’s all they seem to be doing and they have the ego of an entitled child.
I weep for my second fandom home on deviantART. Transformers is contrived of nothing but acid laced neon lion king recolors over on dA, and entitled brats.
They’re not even trying to copy/trace.. They’re just cutting it out of the original drawing and pasting their name over the original artist’s name
I’m sorry but I just can’t get past his black eye “whites”. That part should be either white or a shade of soft yellow for lion king characters. This what ever it’s suppose to be looks like a creepy pasta with those black eyes. This character should also be a dark grey or lighter shade of black.
Lions aren’t melanistic in the wild(and I don’t think a melanistic lion has ever existed, the melanistic lions we see on google are all photoshopped) but melanism does exist in animals as a genetic mutation. It’s never full black like this. It can range from a dark chocolate color or almost black/grey. In some cases it can even be a near black shade of the animal’s fur. For example, a melanistic leopard has been seen to have a near black fur with yellowish orange seeping through making it a murky color.
This character looks like a train wreck the way it does. And with those back spikes I feel it’s suppose to be some kinda dragon creature. And I keep going back to the eyes. Even dragons don’t have black eye whites.
The one on the bottom right entitled “Relaxing” Has been copied off of albionraven666fanart. I feel like I’ve seen the one entitled “Sleeping” before.
This person has moved to a new account and low and behold has posted another recolored fan work. But I, for the love of me, can’t find the original. It’s not MissAudi, Kohu-arts, Dukacia, Mganga-the-lion, ronaii, X-zelfa, Albinoraven666fanart, Cartoonmoviesfan or HydraCarina.
If anyone recognizes the original(or originals as they’ve been known to frankentrace), pleas let me know so I can let the original artist(s) know.
