Alternative title: How to copy someone else’s artwork

Since there’s no fanbrat activity today I’ll share with you guys a few scans from my Russian coloring book I recently purchased. I don’t know whether it was suppose to have stickers or whether this is their version of Connect The Dots. 

But it came with a lot of Simba, Nala, Kovu, and Kiara pictures. I just scanned a few. 

If anyone out there can read Russian, could you be so kind as to translate the two that have text for me please? 

I hate to break it to you fellas but the black and white sketches are of Simba, not Mheetu. The colored images are indeed Mheetu’s appearances. 

That first sketch followed by the rest are done by the artist Thomas Enriguez of baby Simba. The image I have provided is an unedited and uncropped image taken straight from the Blue Ray dvd gallery. You can tell the hand writing on the Simba title matches that of the artist. 

As for the two cubs pestering the concept Scar, I’m not too fully sure about that one. It could be simba and Nala, it could be Simba and Mheetu. I don’t exactly know. 

The most stolen image on the internet. With “Sweet Vitani” coming in a close second.

People who trace in inferior non vector stabilized programs are just that, morons. For calling a plain jane trace a vector is just fucking stupid. There’s too much noise for this image to be considered a vector trace. It makes it look like a Jpg quality save. 

Nala is quite clearly traced/copied off of this image.

What. The fuck… Am I looking at? It’s like… a babymip… but not! 

I’ve heard of frankenbasing, but this is ridiculous.
