Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom
“Oh, I totes am gud anim8r!”

“Oh, I totes am gud anim8r!”

It looks like they just masked it from the show!

My inner circle did some snooping around and .. . well…

Ahem. It’s one thing if you’re gonna trace the show to remake the puppet assets. But seeing as they’re going to be tradigitally animating frame by frame according to that timeline at the bottom, they’re going to wind up like every other fandom edit out there on youtube with reusing the scenes and masking them together to make new content at this rate.

And I just got word that TNP hired not just one tracer, but a second one, now. So now it’s starting to sound like a scam and not a trustworthy fan project.

Who the fuck raised this kid?

Member looks far too young to be on dA to begin with in the photos of his art theft. He’s traced Namygaga and WhiteKimya of whom I could immediately recognize. And he’s taken and edited already adopted adopts, and trying to sell them as new adopts.

You may as well throw your money down the toilet. There’s no playing Russian Roulette with WaywardAngel. All she ever does is recolor!

The body has been found. It was Surak.
I’m getting flashbacks to Slothastic with this.

So, the Night Pride series is still chugging along. Despite, ya know, hiring a recolor editor and all that.

If you pause the video at 0:28, you’ll see an image in the bottom right corner. It’s from their newly hired visual ‘artist,’ Waywardangel who has a nasty habit of recoloring and can’t stop. The image used was partially traced from the show

What’s worse is the creator of the project doesn’t care. They keep touting, “But I’m gonna make her change!” at me like that will sweep the problem under the rug

Like, it’s noble that you want to push a recolor editor in the right direction, but if all they ever do is make recolors, and you post those onto your social media sites for your project, that’s making your project look less and less trusting. It even makes your project look like a con when you’re looking to crowdfund for your project via Patreon or other sites.

And seeing no end to the lies here with the recolors, I can’t exactly show support for the show. Which is kinda sad, because the series shows potential.

Oof, I was shown that the Night Pride Series creator hired a tracer and heard they’re not firing them. This is beginning to feel like Slothastic all over again with “But the art is important to the story!”

I’ve honestly heard stories from the animation industry where you’re expected to prove your work. One such story involved a gutter monkey who got into the animation studio and was told to make a turn around. Well sir, they just frankentraced from the studio’s show to make that turn around. And they were fired on the spot.

If you’re going to be an animator, you need to have some skill under your belt. Especially if you’re going in as either an inbetweener or a cleanup animator. Ya’ve gotta have some skill. You can’t fake it till you make it in the animation industry.

This scrub decided to trace Demiidee to enter in a contest.

I’ve had many ‘traditional artists’ tell me they can’t have traced because paper. Well, there’s this wonderful invention called tape. You use it to put your paper on your computer screen which acts like a light box, and then after you’ve done the deed, you can take a photo or scan it!

I’m also noticing many traditional content creators are lying thieves. It makes the rest of the traditional art community look bad. It’s a dangerous trend.
