That doesn’t look like freehanded referencing to me. Maybe the cub in the middle of the cub pile is more referenced than the others. But Sereea completely took what I said out of context. I had meant that it looked like a base someone else made off of Nala concept art. And Sereea is a baser by trade. And yet the simplest, please credit base, sent them into tantrum mode.
Even if it’s a traced base, it’s fandom curtesy to credit the bases you used.
What an absolute dumbass account. Posts progress of them ripping off and recoloring fan art. Doesn’t bother crediting either. Nadra doesn’t want their works recolored. PERIOD.
Fanpop is full of little surprises such as this particular one. It’s apparently supposed to be Zira.

At least it’s a screenshot and not someone else’s fan art which is a problematic issue that runs rampant on Fanpop. They trade fanart like trading cards there.

Dude’s still obsessed with my sona… this is… creepy and harassment. I don’t want my characters drawn like this, he knows it, I asked him to cease. But he’s still doing it.
This is exactly what I hate. Tracers passing off clear cut tracing as “But I referenced!” and even screams about “But my repewtayshunz!” They clearly traced off of NewSea-ANother on deviantART, they traced the head of their Tanglemane. That makes this my business. They’re tracing fanart and passing it off as originul the urt donut steel. It’s only the one thus far. But that’s a huge no-no in this fandom.

You’ve heard of revenge porn, now get ready for revenge project. The clown that created The Lady Guard originally tried out for a role in TNP series, but when he was turned down, he didn’t go quietly. He’s literally treating his only animator like a slave, demanding they turn out animations in less than a week. He’s even relying on recolor culture for his concept art. Last month, there was a Q&A with him from another youtuber and he lied through his teeth, using all the methods of stalling before answering the interviewer’s questions. This whole thing reads like a bad revenge plot for some tv series.
