Just a friendly reminder that this is the unedited and uncropped version of the concept art found on the Diamond edition DVD that the fandom use to think was Mheetu, a deleted character. Nobody actually knows what Mheetu was suppose to look like. It’s purely speculated by word of mouth that he exists.
It’s been disproven that this image is Mheetu on the Diamond Edition release. The artist wrote Simba at the bottom corner of the original sketch. But someone in this fandom keeps blindly arguing that it is Mheetu making it difficult to discredit it.
I also don’t think this person “traced” this. I think they ran it through filters, making for a really shitty line work.

Actually that’s an April Fool’s edit done by artist Koraden back in 2..0…something. Notice the “April Tolos” title. I noticed it was an edit right off when I recognized this was from the comic “Small Giants”.
According to multiple sources this is concept art of Mheetu and Bhati, Mheetu is a lot darker than Simba, so I could see where Nala’s father would be darker than Simba and Kion.
In all of Mheetu’s concept art he is this colour, so I’m assuming he is a dark pelted cub.
Ironically, If you google “Nala Bhati concept art” this shows up. I’m fairly sure this is Nala, not Mheetu. I think the only known Mheetu concept art is the following
But even then the butt known as wereberus claimed it’s mheetu so I can’t take what he calls Mheetu seriously. He’s the same asshole that made it so that the entire early sketches of Simba as a cub is Mheetu. Even when the Diamond Edition released of the same pic with SIMBA on it, he denounced it as if it hurt his ego.

I’m sorry but the description below the image is making me lawl hard. This is the same person who goes around pushing his Mheetu theory as canon in other fans throats. And if people design what Mheetu might look like, he screams “THAT’S NAWT MHEETU!!”. He also has an inflated ego and whoever goes around show casing suspected Mheetu imagery here on tumblr, he reblogs with “You’re welcome” as if he’s expecting us to give him a pat on his ass. He also screams at people who don’t share his own opinion and is trying to be the next Rinjapine from story telling to replicating her style. Biggest rabid fan I’ve ever met in my life.
I hate to break it to you fellas but the black and white sketches are of Simba, not Mheetu. The colored images are indeed Mheetu’s appearances.
That first sketch followed by the rest are done by the artist Thomas Enriguez of baby Simba. The image I have provided is an unedited and uncropped image taken straight from the Blue Ray dvd gallery. You can tell the hand writing on the Simba title matches that of the artist.
As for the two cubs pestering the concept Scar, I’m not too fully sure about that one. It could be simba and Nala, it could be Simba and Mheetu. I don’t exactly know.
