So, we got another chump thinking they can post stolen fan art if they run it through a filter to look like a pencil sketch(the oldest trick in the book) and pass it off as their ‘drawings’. They have also stolen underage NSFW fan art.
Original description: “My first ever pic on here will be the beautiful Uru, mother of mufasa. As you can tell this will be a place for lion king drawings. Have an amazing summer guys!”
According to this person, the first step to start drawing fanart is to trace over someone else’s fanart. How helpful!
HURF!
While tracing is good to use to learn to draw, one shouldn’t trace and claim other’s art for fast eFame. They take on the artist’s own unique voice as well as mistakes and can’t learn from that. If you want to trace, use official content then use what you learned to find your own style.

Since we’re talking about lazy fuckers who can’t put effort into designing characters. Case in point this loser who cropped out MalisTLK’s Simba, grayscaled it, painted only the eye, and added scars and cuts to it to make it look “edgy”.
I’ve seen some great fan characters come and go in this fandom. But lately, there’s been a rising trend of lazy losers who’re just in it for easy attention and don’t care who they step on to get it. It’s disheartening to see this fandom come to this point.
There are far too many uggo grayscale OCs in this fandom.
It occurred to me that I hadn’t uploaded their hideously recolored character yet. So here it is.
It’s, “Orange is the new pink” not the other way around.
Their entire gallery is nothing but traced and recolored fan art mixed with traced bases. What an embarrassment.
I ended up finding this mess while browsing through the lion king tag. :/ I see a piece by MalisTLK in there, as well as uncredited lineart from Lil-Cheetah and anoher user who I’m not sure who made the lioness lineart on the bottom right.
I saw that actually and was hesitant about posting, figuring they just didn’t know but the combination of Feral Hearts and Traced Bases/cut out fan art/fan characters is a bit disturbing.
