I can tell you right now–if this is legit from the novelization(which I plan on ordering)–it is an author error. The author likely is not familiar with the TLK lore and therefore just fudged it.
Kopa is not canon to the film(s). He’s a glorified published fan character. Deal with it.

I know I said I was taking a break but I’m just going to leave this up here. I giggled a little at this because they’re using Kati-Kopa’s comic as FACT that Vitani and Kopa are a thing. I also giggled a little because I had someone telling me after I shared with them what info I had on Kopa that this is a legit article about Kopa.

I don’t understand why these baser babies must watermark their crap. It’s not your line art. Even when I share my colored traced bases I at least credit Disney. But to avoid losers on etsy and eBay from selling my colored lines for fast money I have no choice but to watermark my work because people go for that kinda shit. No one’s going to take fill bucketed traced base lines and sell them or repost them. And when someone does repost them they’re either A) A satire blog like me making fun of your lazy ass or B) Super fucking lazy they shouldn’t be on the internet in the first place.
