We need to cleanse Fanpop of all the recolored and reposted fan art. This website is a massive clusterfuck of entitled children who think they can repost what ever the hell they want with no repercussions. I should know, I’ve been a victim of these savages. 

This stamp isn’t this kids’ first offense. They’ve stolen fan works before and turned them into traced bases. They’re making a bigger mess for themselves. 

But let me explain you a thing. 

There’s such a thing as asking permission before hand. You don’t want to be labeled as an art thief by taking without permission. Credit doesn’t work if you didn’t get their permission. These artists have every right to attack you for taking their intellectual works without permission and can have your image removed. You can’t complain because you were in the wrong in the first place. On a place like deviantART, you MUST ask permission first. Some people don’t understand this concept and then wonder why they’re being attacked even though they gave credit. Doesn’t work that way sweeties. Permission first, then do what you want. It’s called respect, and it’s all an artist asks of you when they trust you enough to enjoy the works they share.
