I updated my Afua :U mostly just made his mane two tone bc the brown blended in too much with his coat once it was a legit mane instead of a tuft. He’s a son of Scar and Zuri’s littermate :U Hes ‘in love’ with Kiara but she can’t stand him because hes a bullying piece of shit like his dad was so Afua is bitter AF that he didn’t get Kiara.

The darker mane does look better and stands out nicer :D

This time I decided to do something more ambitious than my last picture; the linework was done by pen and ink while everything else was done on Krita since my Prismacolors don’t match the characters’ original colors. Enjoy! 

Digging the style you used! 

So the person who stole Rhodie’s lioness design [who she called Shari] wants to adopt like nearly all of my adopts on a sheet I am selling. I don’t really wanna sell to her bc of her really lousy history I’ve seen established here, do you think it would be morally wrong to deny this person the right to adopt my designs or should I go with my gut and say no you can’t adopt them?

I know which one you are refering to, currently in a headache inducing argument–they decided to pick back up–that Simba copied Kimba because ER MEH GERD HYENA FALL IN THORNS DUR HUR HUR! Hello! First time submitting, long time appreciator of the blog and your work, Kash. Hello! I’m Azerae, the adopter of one of the cubs people took an immediate shitfit over, as well as a close friend of Claire’s. I decided to do a quick sketch of the cub adopted to show that I have no intention of making her a Bali bootleg/ripoff {isn’t she originally the Asha bootleg?}. I drew her appearance how I saw fit and even gave her darker colors as an adult. Hopefully this causes the storm to die down a little :’D

And no, I didn’t submit this to stir shit even more {drama isn’t my forte}– I submitted because I wanted people to know that her design is in good hands and that she was not intentionally made the Bali ripoff that everybody seems to believe the crybaby over. I used the design that Claire altered, and then altered her myself to make her adult colors. Apologies if she seems to take after another character!

Sarafina started off as exclusively being mates with Naanda, whom she had a large crush on since teenhood. They eventually let Nyota into the fold, as they wanted cute cubs to raise, plus Nyota had the hots for Sarafina anyway. So Nyota fathers Nala and Mheetu on Sarafina and fathers Tojo with Naanda. They’re a happy OT3, helps that lions like having multiple lovers anyway lel tho in terms of Lion King its not very common in the royal prides but its not unheard of either ~

Thought it would be funny if Naanda got to be Nala’s mom again by being lesbians with Sarafina :“D

I was sharing stuff about my version of a mate and family for Mohatu and this person yet again tried telling me fan stuff is canon. It’s hard trying to be logical sometimes.

They still can’t wrap their tiny pea-sized brain around the fact that Asali belongs to someone else and that it is THEIR character. Yeah, this one’s an idiot who will believe everything in the fandom. If HydraCarina was to say Mohatu’s grandfather was God-lion then he’d believe it I’m sure! 

Reki is Uru’s younger brother, he is a bitter and angry lion due to the loss of Tovu [Uru’s first mate/plus he was like a big bro figure to Reki] in the great war between the PrideLands and Ahadi’s Pride so he’s very much looking at most of his own pride as enemies from the merge. His mate is a lioness called Pulika, she was betrothed to him. She is one of the few lions he tolerates and can reasonably say cares for, mostly due to the fact she was of his birth pride and she is so chilled out and following of him for the most part, usually she doesn’t fight him and just agrees with whatever he wants/says to do, which makes Reki pleased. Bwana is Simba’s Uncle from the Unusual Choir comic, he eventually marries Dwala when the princess visits the PrideLands, he is instantly attracted to her and works to win her heart. He has a sister Mariatu [partially named after Reki’s father Mohatu], she is a quiet sort of lioness, just blends in with the rest. She is based on a lioness from the Circle of Life opening: https://lionking.wikia.com/wiki/Simba%27s_pride/Gallery?file=Background_Lionesses_Opening_Sequence.png She has a unique set of markings across her shoulders that are probably an animation error [they stick around in the animation sequence for a bit too] but idc, looks cool so I decided to use her anyway~ Mariatu doesn’t really have a story set for her, she’s just kinda filling a space that looked empty between Reki’s forepaws :U
