Here is the Mheetu I said because I decided to try and be different, since I am one of those people who look at common headcanons and either agree or try to go the opposite way xD But I need opinions on his eye colour. I can’t pick o3o

As I said it was originally to be Vitani’s eye colours, so she could have a link from Nala’s family tree (The colours coming from their father, since Nala has her mothers eyes, I would give Mheetu their fathers), but I’m also debating on a nice bluey green (Nala cub) or a bright blue (Nala adult )

What do you think? 

I think I like #1 more. The darkened eyes match his colors. But if I may suggest something? Try to lighten the fur a bit so it’s not solid black. Otherwise you can’t see very many details and it just looks like a silhouette with eyes. And even then animals with melanism aren’t solid black. They’re blue and grey highlights. Otherwise this makes for a very interesting Mheetu! 

*cascually bursts in as a skeleton* I’ve finished it!

In seriousness, it took ages to even decide what colours to do Kovu and Kiara, since there’s so many different colours…and sadly their kids were either a clone of one or the other xD But either way I think it went okay, whatcha think?

Next is Mufasa and Sarabi-

thought i’d give it a shot with changing my ‘sona’s colours to film colours. i’m not 100% sure how i feel about them. which one looks better? the old colours or the new ones?

I deffo like the new colors. Her original colors aren’t bad either. But you could go either way. And if you went with the grayish brown, she’d wind up looking much like a darker Zira.

Updated oc’s of mine, as well as style, the old ones for a year ago. Whatcha think?

Nice! I’m noticing that there isn’t much change in your drawing skills, but where there is change,  it is noticeable! 

Hey absolutely love your blog~. I wanted to draw and create a lion fc using that color guide you made! Named him Nuru! The guide was very useful and hope this turned out pretty nice. Continue to trash out the bad TLK fandom you brave soul.

I really, REALLY like this color palette you made for your character! Just one thing though, lions only have dewclaws on their forepaws, never their hind paws. Simple mistake, no biggie. 

Here he is. I did make him blind, and in the picture, he is receiving either a vision or a realization that Scar will kill Mufasa.
Also in my headcanon he’s the grandpapa of Kovu :3 Don’t mind the watermark, it’s just because it’ll be posted to da soon, with a story.

Love the idea! Is he also like Daredevil? Where in any noise made he can see his surroundings through echolocation? That’d be awesome to be able to have that on top of seeing into the future.
