I’m legit cringing at how out of practice I was with Disney lions. Then again, so much of the TLK fandom is based on how well you can look like you work for Disney that it can be discouraging for artists that can’t quite pull that off yet. No offense, Kash I know you want to work for them/with them some day and I wish you luck doing so. I almost want to redo this, then I remember the legit mine field that is both fandoms.

No offense taken. I personally like seeing different styles lions are drawn in. It’s hardly ever seen anymore these days. It’s always either TLK or Kimba. No in between. 

I also like seeing both Simba and Kimba being friends. I think there are more people who are the same as oppose to the butthurt weaboo fuckboys. You shouldn’t have a problem if you redraw this. And you should! 

Nyota is my version of Nala’s dad ~ thinking he’s in a happy poly relationship with Sarafina and Naanda who are lesbian lovers lel two different color pallets ~ I’m more fond of the left one but ~ he might be Zira’s brother or something ~

I kinda like the bright colors on the right myself. He’s very pretty! 

Tweaked Kovu slightly because on my phone I realized his colors were a bit too much. Better?

Maybe I’m use to seeing a peachish secondary pelt on him(Muzzle) but yes, much better.

They seem to be heavily red in hue. Maybe throw in some brown or gold?

I was struggling with her hair, it was either too much like Jasiri or too much like Vitani but I think I found the hair finally ~ It’s supposed to be a lady mullet ~ thoughts?

I like! But it looks more like a pixie cut. Which is my hair style choice. I still like!
