This is why I hate fanpop. They have no rules or regulations for copyright so little kids can recolor people’s art as much as they please.

Find someone has used your artwork on fanpop without your consent? Stolen a character perhaps? Or is just being a crass, fascist asshole? The easiest way to report someone on fanpop is to go to the contact us page and select “report user or link”.

After a discussion on the subject, Nala15 on deviantART made me question the policy of Fanpop, a site riddled with art theft and babymippers, and this is what I found. Turns out, they have copyrights, but aren’t paying attention to them. Thus they’re bombarded with thousands of immature babymippers and art thieves. 

Asking for credit after tracing someone else’s hard work is like asking for a trophy when you haven’t even entered a sport. 

Also, fanpop.com is riddled with art theft. Yet millions of kids seem to think that’s the source of their base images. 

Let’s see if I can translate everything this relentless prick says shall we? 

• I do give credit, I just don’t know what the resource is and think Fanpop is the source of all images! 
• Even though I know it’s needed, I don’t give credit to the right person.
• If I’m told I didn’t correct the right person, I’ll cry, kick, and scream! 
• I’ll only correct it IF the artist says it’s theirs! 
• I may say I love taking criticism, but I lie! I cry like a drama diva anyway!

How many fucking idiots believe that fanpop is the original source of an image? So far, this retard. “LIKE, OMG! I did not copy Kamirah’s art! I found it on a site! It’s not hers!!" 

Fun fact; Fanpop is full of young children who don’t know shit about art theft. They see an image they like, they’ll edit it and post it up on that rat infested website.
