When I first saw this fan art I thought something was off. Kopa is recolored/traced off of DJ88′s Malka and Nala’s head is traced from MissAudi’s pic of Nala. Simba And Kiara are also likely traced off fan art. And as always they’re in denial of tracing someone’s original fan content. 

So I came across this hard copy today. And it seems that we’re amidst a new generation of misinformed youth. The first three comments are from what appears to be a white knight for this new deviantART member. They seem to think that when we claim copyrights, it’s to the character that we depict in our art, not our artwork. 

The last comment is from the “artist” who hard copied the fan art. That’s all they seem to be doing and they have the ego of an entitled child. 

They’re not even trying to copy/trace.. They’re just cutting it out of the original drawing and pasting their name over the original artist’s name 

I love it when they advertise their art theft to me personally. 

So I tell this person that there are suttle hints of tracing, they get pissed off at me and they bawlock me. 

I go into prove mode, and look what I discovered! 

I love waking up to shattering “artists” ideals. 

This person is nefarious for tracing/copying off other people’s originality and then pulling the “I was inspired by so and so” card. 

In fact, they started out poorly tracing other people’s arts. I’m not surprised this person hasn’t learned her lesson.
