This is a perfect example of how not to use tracing. HAH! Also, one is named Koda. Why do I get the feeling that’s the dark brown one with the teal eyes? And why do I get the feeling it’s gonna be a knock-off of TC’s Koda?
My artistic senses tell me this is traced from something.
Disney’s House of Mouse is where this is from. This brony still has stolen fan art in their gallery. Tracing is not bad. One can learn from it and it can be fun. But one must ask to trace or edit someone’s fanart beforehand and give credit where credit is due if permission is granted. It’s not that hard to understand.

It never ceases to amuse me that people will blindly praise someone else’s art theft and that the thief will blindly give their thanks for the comment. The only hard work they did was erase FrolJoker’s watermark signature and add a black filter.
I don’t fully agree with the fact that people broke into her discord and harassed her friends (allegedly), but even I know Kion isn’t meant to be anywhere near 15-18. Even his voice actor is a fucking minor and was about 13 when the show started. I don’t care if it’s a cartoon character, you’re a 22 year old fantasizing about being with a representation of a child. That is why you got hate.
And if this person redacts after they learned the truth? What then? You still gonna hate them for a mistake in the past they’ve realized was bad? You gonna still harass them and belittle them and make their lives miserable?
Dumblr doesn’t know the definition of pedophile anymore. It gets thrown around so much that it’s lost its meaning. Case in point someone who ships characters who are five and ten years apart, but the characters are adults themselves, “ERMEHGERD U IS PEDOPHILE!” according to Dumblr. It happens more often than naught in the HTTYD fandom. Someone ships characters old enough to be adults with characters a ccouple years older, and get a blast of shit for it. It’s really disgusting.
Most people anymore have the sense enough to make a self-insert OC or a fursona to ship with canon characters. Self Shipping sounds weird to me. Like… Fiction-kin weird. It’s the Imaginary boy/girlfriend’s cousin.

I could swear there are a few more pieces that are traced not just from Disney (the gallery is full of it) but other artists. I’m having some issues placing the poses though as I’m 99% sure the colors are throwing me for a loop. I see at least one DJCoulz in there…

Since we’re on the topic of TLK’19. People are still losing their shit over Disney removing the Be Prepared sequence.
People fail to recognize it has a Nazi reference. And even further still, seem to ignore that Scar was originally going to be running the pridelands like a Nazi internment camp. The only reason the Hyena Nazi march made it into Be Prepared was that it was the only thing they could sneak in past the censors.
And yet the Nostalgia police are running around like headless chickens, starting petitions and all that silly nonsense to try and get it back in TLK’ 19.
I wish people would stop stating this. We’re all fucking aware that TC’s cubs were heavily inspired by Kiara and Kovu. That’s the whole fucking point of being fan-children for those two characters
And every other fan character out there is also essentially a rip-off of another canon character. It’s no fucking surprise anymore these days. So why act so offended about it?
There’s currently some drama going on about TC’s cub being ‘stolen’ again. I’d personally love to believe it a coincidence. But GDI those are far and few between anymore these days and y’all know how they worship the trio out there on the net.
